During my consultation Linda took me back into a ...

During my consultation Linda took me back into a room where we looked at pictures of very "[RS bleep]-esqué" photos. Dr. Zollman and I did not discuss cc-size, I didn't try on a bra. I just showed him one of the pictures that I liked and he said that he would make me proportionate to my idea of what I wanted to look like. The following Monday I called Linda because I had a lot of questions that I didn't think of at the consultation and just wanted clarification. She was very informative, very nice, and really took her time answering all of my questions. On the day of surgery I was pretty nervous I did get a chance to speak with Dr. Zollman before the surgery. I asked him approximately how many cc's he was thinking about since I only wanted to go up to 400. He said that he wanted to do about 450 to achieve the look I was going for. This made me pretty nervous but I also trusted his judgment since he has 41 years of experience and has done over 9000 similar procedures. Linda knew that I was pretty nervous so she came in and spoke to me in my waiting room. We went over the process and how I would feel after, what exactly was going to be done, she was very very nice to talk with. One of the staff at St. Vincent Hospital took me back into the operating room. Prior to this I met with the anesthesiologist and went over more questions and she made me feel very at ease as well. She also gave me something for the anxiety and nervousness and as soon as she gave it to me I looked up at the lights said that my neck felt a little funny and I was out. When I woke up I was in the recovery room. Amy from Dr. Zollman's office was there asking me how I felt and telling me that everything went great. I found out that I was only filled to 400cc on my left breast and 425cc on my right breast since I had minimal tissue to begin with. I started with a 34A at most. Since I live in St. Louis the drive home was a little over four hours. When I got home I decided to fill my prescriptions however if you are getting the surgery done OUT-OF-STATE make sure that you get your prescriptions filled in INDIANA because whenever I went to fill my prescriptions they were unable to be filled because the scripts were written in Indiana and I was in Missouri. They were unable to be verified until this morning at 10 AM whenever Dr. Zollman's office opened - thank God for the time difference and I got them filled at 9am after a whole night without pain meds! Today, one day later, I feel a lot of pressure with minimal pain around the incision site and I'm up walking around my house. I am drinking a lot of water with MiraLAX since pain meds decrease peristalsis and make it really hard to go to the bathroom. I've been massaging little by little to keep them squishy. Every couple of hours I try to slowly raise my arms above my head to stretch out my muscles since the implants were put under both muscles. Also, I've been putting ice packs on for 20 min and off for 40 min. I think that the placement is wonderful not too high not too big not too small I am so happy that I trusted his judgment he really knows what he's doing and has so much experience! I will be referring so many people to him! I will also be making YouTube videos with day to day pictures and tons of information since searching though hours of YouTube videos is extremely frustrating. Best of luck to whoever is thinking about having this procedure, Dr. Zollman is amazing!

Day One Post-Op

Pictures have descriptions, most pain and pressure is in the crest of the side of both my breasts. Left has 400cc and right has 425cc.
