I had two consults and ultimately chose Dr Robey. She was kind and realistic, and I felt that she listened to my concerns and desires. She prescribed several medications that have been effective with dealing with pain. She was brief pre surgery- but there wasn't really much to say, and I was happy to just get back to the OR, as I was nervous. Both the surgery center and Dr Robey called me the next day to check on me. My first post op appointment is approx. two weeks from my surgery date. She did not advise any massage- just ice and pain meds/valium as needed. I also feel like my bruising has been pretty minimal. I am very happy with my experience and will update after my post op appointment.

Small pimples along incision?

I noticed today that my incision felt a little itchy, so I took my silicon tape off (I rotate the strips each day when I shower) to find what appear to be little pimples along one of my incisions. I've read about "spitting stitches" but I'm not sure this is that. They're not exactly on the incision, and I'm thinking they may just belittle pimples from wearing the tape nearly 24/7. Any thoughts?
