Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

We arrived at the hospital at 6:00 a.m. And they quickly took me back to change and get some info (they kinda freaked me out by asking if I needed someone to help me fill out a will before I went back!) and then she put in my IV...which has been the worst part of this entire process bc she had to stick me 3 times and blew out my veins twice. Then my husband came back and stayed with me until Dr. Zollman came in and marked me up. Then the anesthesiologist came in and asked me a few questions. Then a nurse came and got me and I kissed my husband and I was off!! For some reason I wasn't nervous at all, and I really think it was bc I've read all of the awesome reviews on here and got me more prepared! But once I got into the OR it was fast, the next thing I knew was my husband waking me up along with a nurse saying that everything went great!! Going to the bathroom the first time sucked. My husband helped me but it was like being on a ride that spins forever and trying to do it. But after that we hopped in the car and headed to the hotel! So far everything has been tolerable. I had chin lipo also and honestly I can't feel it at all! I asked my husband if he knew how many cc's were injected and he said he couldn't remember exactly, but he was pretty sure that it was definitely over 1,000 lol. But I'll find out Tuesday at my post-op appointment. The 3 hour ride home sucked. I felt every bump. And the rest of my 1st day was spent sleeping. My second day post op I pretty much got up, walked around for about 30 minutes, ate some fruit or vegetables, took a pain pill and then repeated it all again until it was finally time for my first shower. This was an experience! My husband basically put me in the shower and gave me a sponge bath with hibiclens. This felt AMAZING!!! But the best part was when I finally got to see my results in the mirror (bc at this point I hadn't taken my stomach wrap off). I cried. I have never felt so happy in my entire life about my body. Even with the swelling and crease marks, I was absolutely stunned at how incredible I looked 2 days after surgery! Let me just say ladies, I will never forget that moment in my life and how wonderful it felt!
But here are some things that have made a huge difference for me.
1. My husband. You definitely need to stay somewhere with great, attentive aftercare or bring someone who isn't squeamish. He's had to empty my drains, clean pee off of me and the floor, and basically be my walker all throughout the night.
2. Chux pads are a necessity. Along with extra towels.
3. Bring house shoes.
4. Drink lots and lots of fluids! I brought water, Gatorade and pineapple juice. After a couple of trips to the bathroom (peeing) I felt tons better. Hardly any nausea now at all. I also ate a chicken Caesar salad and some strawberries, that made me feel tons better.
5. A giant plastic cup has been a lifesaver. Squatting above the toilet, even with my husband holding me has been impossible. With the P-EZ I just made a huge mess.
6. Walking around has helped tremendously! I get up every 1-2 hours just to move so I don't get stiff. Bc like I've read a 100 times on this site, that part sucks. And walking eventually gets easier.
7. Drains suck, but I think they're a lot better than leaking all over the place!!
Hope this helps some of you guys!!!

I'm finally done!!! ????????????????
Well ladies, I made it!! While my husband was getting me dressed all he kept saying was "damn!!" and "baby got back!" Lol. Once I feel better I will add a full review, but so far all of this pain is worth it!!!!
Can't wait to burn my padded panties!!!
So I'm officially set for May 22, 2015 with Dr. Zollman in Indianapolis!! My balance is paid, hotel is booked, now I'm just trying to decide what to pack. Does anyone know what the best things to wear the first few days after surgery? I've read maxi dresses are the most comfortable, but I was gonna see if anyone else had any ideas?
