You’ll do it! How old are you (if you don’t mind me asking)? I’m an old fossil and have had quite a few procedures. It’s all about maintenance. lol

I went back

teddt135
To my doctor who performed my lipo. I had upper, lower abs and flanks in June. Then back and upper arms in September. I was HUGE and went from a size 2” in pants to fit my huge stomach to a 14/12. I am a bit over 5’8” with toned, muscular.y arms and legs. While I am happy with my size, I am NOT happy with the skin that I have to tuck into my panties. I DID lose 30lbs this year. The fat necrosis, I have learned, is normal, and so is the little pellets of lymph nodes. Our bodies change and heal. Especially at my age. I am 64, even though I do t feel it. Wearing a corset, or waist trainer IS NOT a good thing, no matter what anyone tells you. It’s fine at the beginning, but it restricts lymph and blood flow. I will have a TT neck year. I wish I had done it first, since I spent almost 9k on all this lipo. We live and learn. Love you all. ????????

Goodnes what a journey you have been on. Please keep us updated with your progress as time goes by and about your TT when that comes up. I was going to buy a waist trainer just for everyday wear to try and help redistribute the middle fat but not anymore. I appreciate how kept up with your story!
December 13, 2017
A waist trainer is OK to wear in moderation, I believe, just NOT 24/7!

Your right about the waist trainer!! I have heard the same thing.

teddt135, I was wondering could Dr. Kaufmann have suggested you get a tummy tuck first before the smart lipo?
December 13, 2017
I should add : YES, wear you CG!

So are you wish you'd had a tt instead. That's good to know, but are toy happy with the back and arm lipo? I'm your age and that's what I'm interested in but I heard it was more complicated then the abdomen. I'm sorry you had the problems you did. It had definitely influenced my decision.
December 19, 2017
My back and arms are great. My stomach looks great in clothes.
December 19, 2017
But, I really knew that I would have hanging skin, and the issues are getting better. ❤️

Thanks for sharing your story and posting a 6 month update. I would rather see a long term update then right after the procedure. Your story helped me in learning to get a tummy tuck first before having lipo alone. I have the visceral fat in my abdomen and you can't remove that with a tummy tuck. I need to lose weight first then need muscle repair and tummy tuck. I am 5'4" 198 lbs. I can't lose the weight but do not ever gain anymore than that. I wouldn't mind having lipo as you had done just to be sculpted. I just want a flat stomach, not necessarily lose weight. You look great!! I am 56 and hope I look as good as you when I am 60+!!

Lipo can be done along with a TT - at the SAME TIME! We live and learn!

Wow Rochelle4321 small world. I have the exact same issue. Visceral fat in the abdomen and need to lose some weight and get my BMI down before proceeding with surgery. But after that I’ve had two Plastic Surgeons tell me that’s I can have both the Tummy Tuck and Lipo simultaneously. While u are reaching your weight loss goals check out Dr. Armando Soto and Tom Trevasani. They are the two top Plastic Surgeons in Central Fla. I’m starting with a Medical Weight Loss clinic tomorrow to start working towards my goals. Hope to have surgery this summer (June/July) please share any tips or information u find out about weight loss products and I will do the same. Take care!!

How comforting knowing someone else with the same situation. It has been a struggle for me to lose weight. I have been considering getting weight loss surgery, the sleeve. My bmi is under by 11 1bs. I can't gain much or lose any!! So would be self pay. I know another real selfer whose daughter had the surgery in Columbia which was so much cheaper. Best of luck to u!! I can direct message u so I can keep in touch

I would never go out of the country, but that’s me. I have read of too many people who have had problems. Good Luck!

Yeah, it does sound scary going that far out!! But the cost is sooo expensive here in the states for self pay. I can keep in touch with this person to see how she is still doing.

So sorry to hear that. I’m considering a Tummy Tuck as well but I have to lose some weight first. Check out Dr. Armando Soto and Tom Trevasani (he is voted Best Plastic Surgeon in Central Fla). Was super impressed with Dr.Soto because he guaranteed that I will have the body I want (after I lose the weight) but in the meantime I still want to meet with Dr. Trevasani just because he’s “the best in the business” and weigh my options. Planning for surgery in June-July of this year. Good luck to both of us and I hope to see you post more on your journey!! Happy New Year!!

Fat Necrosis

teddt135
Bad News. What ai thought were inflamed lymph nodes are little marble sized pockets of fat necrosis no I went to a top Pkastic surgeon/oncologist who recommended a full tummy tuck where he can remove these painful pockets. Yes, they are painful, come to the surface and erupt into infection. I wish that I had just had a TT in the first place. Cost is over $10,000!

I am so sorry to hear this, it’s always so devastating when things like this happen and so hard not to beat yourself up over the “what if’s” and “shoulda’s” hang in there and keep your head up!
December 6, 2017
Thank you.
December 6, 2017
Omg that’s terrible! So sorry to hear.
December 6, 2017
I’m sorry to hear about the diagnosis of necrosis only because it hurts and you said it was quite painful for you but I am equally excited for you for the simple reason the you are going to be getting a TT! I know you were kind of struggling with whether or not you should get one. It’s going to be the cherry on top for you on your journey of self love Keep us posted and Good Luck with your move and your Tummy Tuck
