I was just online and found a picture of me from Just before christmas 2011.. yikes! Im so glad I made the decision to have the procedure. I love when people tell me how nice my make up looks, (I actually wear much less now). I had very little pain..more just uncomfortable when it was done. I did not fall asleep during the procedure, I was told many people do.. But I didnt feel a thing. If odd noises bother you...Id suggest to go ahead and try to fall asleep. Im a dental assistant so Im used to weird noises anyway.lol. The one thing I can suggest is that when they tell you to ice agressively the first few days... they really mean it. My family was very supportive.. We were rotating between the soft ice packs and the frozen bags of peas and carrots. I was really like pumpkin head the first couple of days, but that all goes away quickly. Even a couple of months later some of the last swelling towards my ears was still going away. I do take the suggestions from the doctor and using nice skin care products. ( I truly expected them to try and sell me things like this on my follow up apts) but no... they suggested one of the products that you can find in any skin care isle at most stores, which makes it convenient and less costly. Im not someone who spends money like water, nor am I "hooked on plastic surgery", but I feel every penny was worth it. I love it every time someone looks at me and says " I cant believe you have children that are 20 and 25."
