I'm Still Very Impressed with Cosmelan

I'm a Brazilian who lives in NZ, 44 mum of two. I had my sun tanning when I was younger but was always relatively careful with sun, specially on my face. After I've turned 40 I started seeing some pigmentation signs that I would like to get rid of. I was offered a round of IPL and this is were my problems started. I had two sessions and was doing fine (although not seeing much difference) when my therapist said that my skin was handling the treatment well and she she was going to raise the potency of the laser. After this third treatment I was left with very dark pigmentation marks on my forehead and cheeks that didn't subside.
The therapist insisted I needed more sessions but I realised lot of women with olive/darker skin have problems with IPL and I was afraid of getting another session. I've spent a year trying all sort of brightening creams and serums and researching what to do until I came across cosmelan.
Sarah from Luxe Body left me feeling really comfortable and explained to me all the process, it was much more expensive than I was planning to pay but I just wanted my skin back.
I have to say that I had a very easy experience with cosmelan, although I peeled like a snake I wasn't in pain or any discomfort during the whole process, mind you my skin was well prepped with years of retinal I supposed.
Day 1: Sarah applied the cosmelan 1 mask and I had to leave for ten hours. Apart from the fact that you had a brown face I didn't feel anything, when I washed my skin I was red but ok
Day 2/3: red lobster. I was super red, looking like I had a sun or snow burn. I went to work in the office, everybody knew what I was doing. Used hidra-k during the day.
Day 4/5: The peel! My husband was terrified. I was too. But apart from the obvious horrible looks and itchy bits I was fine.
By the end of first week I started to see that the peel was working.
3 weeks later, my skin was amazing, glowing and marks reduced by 90%
I'm using cosmelan 2 dialy at night
8 weeks: done the second peel
10 weeks: skin looking fantastic but still using cosmelan 2 every day (and will use for the next few months).
Important to say that include in your peel price is also the cosmelan 2 and your after care
I use other moisturisers, not just the hydra k
