I had Visian ICL's performed on both eyes and went from wearing -12 glasses to 20/20 within one day. I have had headaches through the recovery process but tolerable. I am glad both eyes were done at once and I only have one recovery period to endure. I think the difference is in the provider you choose.
I had the iridotomies the week prior - uncomfortable but no big deal.
The ICL procedure was less than 15 minutes per eye and I stayed for two hours to ensure no issues (long drive home so it was easier to stay). I slept the rest of the day and had a follow up the next morning which confirmed 20/20.
A week out I find it difficult to use the computer for 10-12 hours straight but can feel improvement everyday. Now I just have to figure out what to do with these old glasses and contacts ..... lol
No halos, etc
I went to multiple LASIK Providers before deciding on Dr Nielson and I am glad I did. It's the provider that makes the difference in the outcome.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am considering to have ICL to correct my -9.00 myopia. My doctor recommended monovision so that I won't need reading glasses when I get older. ( I am 43 years young.) Did you have both eyes fully corrected or leave one eye -1.00 for reading at close distance? Your response will be truly appreciated.

Doctors are refusing for ICL due to less space in eye pupils..what was your space..please let me know
Were you able to drive yourself home after the procedure?
