Concept Face Lift July 2018 Update 9 months - not great!
ORIGINAL POST
I’m having a Concept facelift on 20th July - excited and nervous!
$12,000
I suppose for the last 5 years I’ve noticed the elasticity in my skin going and everything seemed to be dropping so in January I made that decision to have it done!!! I’ve waited a while because I needed to have down time so chose summer when I know I’ve got at least 2 weeks to recover. I bruise easily so am prepared! I’m 60 in 6 months so I’m hoping to look refreshed and Joel free! I’ll post more in 14 days x

So my big day is fast approaching - lots of emotions going on for me - I was told by another lovely Real Selfer that this is normal. Trying to keep busy. I have bought my V pillow yet so that’s a must on Monday.
No idea why my review says “48 years after” that’s hilarious ????

It will go fine! I am considering a face lift but still hesitating since my problem areas are not so bad. I am two years older than you. So nice that you share!

Good luck! I had my 2nd facelift after 18 years last week and I am thrilled. Life is short, why not do this to feel better when you look in the mirror!

Hi Kittykatz. Don’t worry about your upcoming procedure. I’m sure you’re in very good hands. You will love love the metamorphosis of your new look. Keep that vision in your head, and you’ll be soldiering through this seamlessly.
I had many ps procedures, and also get anxious. But, after it’s all said and done, you’ll realize that it was a breeze!
Good luck and keep us Realself friends updated. Xoxo!!!

Yesterday is history - I hadn’t concept face lift in Tunbridge Wells!
I think all my nervousness was the previous days because yesterday morning I got up showered and headed off for my procedure without any thoughts. Got there early so me and hubby went for coffee and cakes in The Pantiles. Got to the clinic and felt very at ease the staff are amazing. I had a chill pill to ease my nervous head!!!
I was then taken downstairs and had my 2 1/2 hour concept lift. I’m not going to lie - the initial injections are or were for me very painful but once the numbing started I felt only a bit of tugging and pulling. The time did not fly by, I was aware of everything and I couldn’t wait to finish!!! Amir is a very skilled surgeon (which is why I chose him)-I trust him ???? .
Had a cup of tea after and biscuits but realised I couldn’t chew them so had to melt on my tongue.
Last night I slept for a few hours I kept using my ice pad- some uncomfortably but nothing what I thought it would be like.
Some bruising to both sides of my neck - only to be expected as I do bruise badly!
Here’s some pics immediately after
