HydraFacial treatment - Not relaxing

ORIGINAL POST

HydraFacial treatment

$300
Not relaxing, face did not feel hydrated or better afterwards and my neck was left with harsh marks from the suction. It didn’t seem like there was any technique to the treatment. Esthetician did not apologize or offer to refund me for the inconvenience. Would not try HydraFacial again.

If I may ask where did you get it done?
Charlotte spa and aesthetics

Any other treatment I’ve gotten done similar to that is still somewhat relaxing. It also isn’t ‘supposed’ to leave marks either...that’s what I expected at least.
Nuturing5956 : With all due respect, I have to disagree with you regarding the expectation of a relaxing HydraFacial. The vast majority of people here at Real Self, including myself, certainly did enjoy their facial while seeing the benefit of clean, glowing, skin afterwards. In that case, wouldn't you suspect the provider was either not that experienced or the patient had some skin condition that made her/him particularly sensitive to the treatment? (BTW, in the case of the latter, a seasoned provider should have recognized thin, brittle skin.)
Frankly, by the fact that this normally gentle treatment left marks and bruising on the patient tells me that the provider was not well trained. You can't blame the patient for that. Be well!
Give it time.
Where was this done?
