Hydrafacial gone wrong?

I had my first Hydrafacial yesterday thinking my skin would come out a little more refreshed and hydrated. Unfortunately not the case. I found the whole experience uncomfortable and at times painful. The result is in the photo where I felt the pain. Can someone explain what is the cause of this?

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Had mine 5 days ago and my face looks like this all over and is still very painful

Wow… I hope you’re better! My only complaint is just 2 days post facial my crows feet look much worse and my forehead is very, very dry. I had a booster serum especially for fine lines and dry skin. I’m not sure whether to give it more time or go get my regular (cheaper!) very hydrating facial. Not happy, yet. $300+
Aside from that splotch which can easily be covered-Your skin looks amazing
