My First Hydrafacial

I love getting facials each month and am no longer working near the spa I’d used for a few years, so I’ve been on the hunt for a new spa. I use Glo SunSpa for spray tans and Omnilux red light therapy. They recently started offering hydrafacials, so I booked the hour long platinum treatment today.

The location is very nice and the room was like a typical spa facial room. The service itself felt like light dermabrasion.

The price was high for the hour treatment, so I am considering the 30min version next time.

No immediate results but I will post about how things look tomorrow. The before pic is on the left, after is on the right. The before looks better because I’m wearing makeup!

Day two after hydrafacial

I’m getting little bumps on my face, probably because I am behind on regular facials and my skin is reacting to being deeply cleansed. My skin is definitely smoother as I put my makeup on.

Did the bumps go away?

No, it actually got worse! I have a full on breakout this week. I take religious care of my skin so it's pretty surprising. I think the serum they used is probably for anti-aging and on my oily skin it causes problems.
