You look super flat. The scar is very nice. How come no belly button? Just curious.

You look wonderful l!! Did you need to stay in the hospital following your surgery. I need to same procedure. I had a panniculectomy done but now I need the vertical incision.

7 and a half weeks post op. Scars looking great. I don't really notice the missing belly button. Hips still sore/swollen.

You look great! I am belly buttonless too and have the vertical scar...it also helped in removing an old scar that was pretty big. How are you feeling? I'm 4 days post today and feel 65% human again lol. I noticed my hips are very swollen too it's weird. Having trouble getting some of my pants around them so I'm wearing Bf's pajama pants mostly for now.

I am feeling pretty good today... I have gone down a pants size, but wearing pants that fit feels weird since I am still missing so much feeling. I feel like my hipbones are poking out even though they are not.

Hmm. I wonder how long that numbness lasts. I'm up more today hope I didn't push it too far. I noticed I cry very easily. I'm thinking being stuck in the house and not getting any exercise is why but idk. Congrats in going down a pants size that's awesome! Are you back to everything ok or finding you get tired easily?

Why did they have to go with no belly button? I had the surgery you had and add a vertical scar under the boobs and I was able to keep mine.

It was my choice because he said he could make me tighter and flatter.

Oh, that is good to know. I want the same procedure, I need to decide whether I want to keep the belly button then.

still swollen, but looking pretty good

I am surprised by how swollen my hips and thighs still are. I have been getting lymphatic drainage massages for my arms and they work on my abdomen as well... which feels bizarre, as I still do not have feeling near my scars.

Looks great!!! Your belly is so flat! I am 12 weeks and still have no feeling in the lower scars where the leg meets the belly.

oh yeah... the scars where my two incisions meet is like a four inch black hole of no feeling... feels very hard to the touch, too. My hips and thighs are still swollen and tender. I will take pictures again sometime soon... it has been 7 weeks so far for me.
February 10, 2014
Yes black hole defines it perfectly and I am 12 weeks. It isn't as bog of an area that is like that anymore but still a couple small spots. Everything else, the feeling has come back.
