ORIGINAL POST

New Dramatic Tear Trough Darkness, and Veins Under One Eye Visible.

Had a couple rounds of hyaluronidase to dissolve botched upper cheek fillers that looked awful, giving me the look of protruding malar-bags and patchy edema into the lower eyelid area. Now after the hyaluronidase I have noticeable darkness in the tear troughs and in the lower lids in general, I actually see veins under one eye now that weren't visible before the hyaluronidase at all. I didn't really need concealer under the eye area even before I had fillers. Now, I have to use concealer and the darkness and new veins under one of my eyes show through the concealer. Supposedly your own hyaluronic acid that gets depleted when treated with hyaluronidase is supposed to regenerate after a couple of weeks (at least that's what I read from some doctors on this site). Looks like it didn't happen for me, and if it did it is no where near what it was before the hyaluronidase, and even prior to fillers. It also appears I'm one more voice on here talking about how hyaluronidase has been instrumental in trashing their looks as well. There is research in The Aesthetic Journal that talks about how hyaluronidase can damage a person's tissues. Some doctors on here have been brave enough to admit it as well. Other doctors not so much. Be careful with this stuff.

I had same thing, large malar bags after fillers... I stupidly only dissolved one side and now that side is back to normal other side still large malar bag... been a yr now it's not budging, scared to put dissolving in because of all the reviews I feel lucky to not have gotten damaged the 1st time
How long ago did you get hyaluronidase?
So sorry this is happening to you. Have things improved at all over the past few weeks?
It will get better in the next couple of months, after dissolving. I have been dealing with these for the last 6 months and I will say it does take more time than a couple of weeks. I dissolved twice in both cheeks, the second time in early November. Now I am finally seeing it get better! Two months until I started seeing improvement.
There is a hyaluronic acid booster by skinceuticals. It helps boost you own hyaluronic acid. It also helps to make fillers last longer from what I read. I like it so it may help plump up that area and pull some water to that area. It’s worth a try so read up on it.
