Hialuronidase and Fillers Destroy Our Lives

ORIGINAL POST

Hialuronidase and Fillers Destroy Our Lifes

I am 44 years old. In January 2019 I was a little down and was advice to do something for my self. A reputable doctor plastic surgeon was advice to me and he do some filler in under eye and high cheeks. It was not too much but my nightmare started there. The filler was restylane and actract much water I begin to have permanent swelling in my under eyes and malar edema. I run at 20 different doctors and no one wanted to dissolve this because there were no much experience in fillers complications. I resolved to wait but I started to have problems with double vision and pain when I move my eyes. The appearance was ridiculous because of swelling. I have no chance unless to dissolve a little in eyes for reduce this. I had hyaluronidase, but I still have filler in my high cheeks. The hyaluronidase created 2 dents under my eyes that I never had. My life is a mess because I am ashamed to appear like this near someone. This is a black destroy market. You put filler that swell and stretch the skin and we have problems after we have to dissolve in the middle way you stay with connective tissue afted. Most of doctors who may fillers and have problems don't take the responsibility of nothing. There life's continuous... Our life stopped and was ruined. All the distressing caused physically and emotionally have no price.

Same happened to me ! My filler is not dissolved yet . But my tissues already dissolved .
Don’t do hylase if it did destroy your tissue already next time would be worst! I thought I could not live like that, and no body also wanted to dissolve so I went to very stupid doc that destroyed my young baby face. I am only 23. Beautiful girl.
Yes it destroy everything... Specially my life. I have a bump that continuous there. I don't know what to do.
How many units did you have ?
Hi, I am very sorry about what happened to you How many units did you have ?
She top me two units but what she meant 0,2. So I think more.
From 20 units to 200 my doc is not replying. But this is going on long time
If she injected you during like 1minute, you only had 20 units. 20 units is like a dose of water in a little spoon .. if she takes more time, maybe you had 200 units. Where did you have hyalase ? In your tear troughs ? Then the product migrate in your eye ?
She injected in 1 min or less... very slowly... how do you know. She uses pb serum hylase that is 3000 units in one bottle she dissolved in 3 ml. And if she says she injected 0,1. If this was insulin injection then it is 20 units. If it is cannula 0,2 is 200 units.
It was swollen sometimes a lot so I decided to dissolve it! Yes tear troughs. I live in hell right now. My face is still melting 3,5 months after last injection
I had 30 units in 3 different points of eye, tear trough and malar zone and 40 units in the other because I had a bump. The bump is smaller but is there. Malar edema still here. And my eyes are hollowed like never were.
Hi Persistent,
I read you also had blurry vision caused by the swelling of the restylane. Do you feel your blurry vision problems have completely resolved since having the hyaluronidaise? I also ended with blurry vision from Restylane injected in the jawline but have been advised to wait it out by the ophthalmologist and neurologist and not inject anything else as it could cause further damage to the sensory nerve. It's been 1,5 years and still having problems although not as severe as in the beginning. I am terrified of having hyaluronidaise injected there as I already have nerve damage caused by the restylane injection.
Hi yes I get real better since had hialuronidase I recover from my numb vision. Well it's not easy had hialuronidase because first days you stay deflected but after get better. Try to find a doctor who use it and knows what are doing. Start for very low dosis and it's better multiples times until you get result than a high dose. If you do few you can always go there get more. The filler do compression and in my case the permanent sweeling under eye don't let the muscle move properly. You got to look for a good doctor that knows use hialuronidase very few multiples times.
Thanks Persistent! Problem is it is so hard to find a doctor that knows how to use it, I have not been able to find one yet. Many know how to inject filler but have no clue on what to do when it goes wrong. Are you in the US and if so would you recommend your Doctor? And what kind of Restylane did you have? Mine is Restylane-L and I still notice it inflames. Thank you for your help!
Yes I had the same problem here in Europe. There are very few to deal with complications l. I had restylane Lyft. In EUA there are some Dr. Gyu Massry Dr. Kami parsa... Even in some positive rewies here you find more doctors there than in my country... In my country neither oculoplastic do fillers or hialuronidase LOl...only plastic sirurgions or aesthetic doctors.
I wait almost 2 years and always get worse with the sweeling. Restylane continuous there in 2 years.
Can I pm you?
