Dissolved Migrated Lip Filler
After a 1+ years of my lip filler, it had migrated above my lip and created a shelf. I went back to the med spa I originally had them filled at and they dissolved it with a 50:50 mix of lidocaine and hyaluronidase, injected into my upper lip. My lip was swollen immediately after due to the amount of liquid in it, but later that night they had returned to normal and the filler had been dissolved.
I did have some nerves going in after reading a few anecdotes of people who have had hyaluronidase injected and experienced deflation/sagging, but I knew I wanted my filler gone no matter what. Luckily, I had no issues and now have my natural lips back.
