My surgery is in 2 weeks and I've been online constantly reading about other women and their experiences. What a life changer for me and my husband! Going from a full A to a full C. I just want to know if I'll feel like taking a 90 minute car ride to see my son a couple of days after surgery?????

You should be fine, I drove home for 90 minutes an hour after waking up from my surgery! They give you pain meds to use, so pop some and hit the road ;) and congrats!!!

Nervous sometimes, excited sometimes, doubtful sometimes!! Is there anyone my age (47) who has had the surgery and loved it? I'm so concerned about living with small breasts for so long and getting used to larger breasts. Will they get in the way? lol

Thank you for starting your journey on RealSelf. A car ride should be okay a few days post op along with a few pain meds perhaps. I often suggest a pillow to hug for the ride home from surgery; it helps absorb the impact from big bumps in the road. ;)  Will your husband be able to help you the first few days of recovery? Good luck and keep us posted!

Here is a link to some items you may want to purchase and set up prior to your surgery. Don't forget something to offset the constipating side effects of the pains meds!

Thanks BethH.I think I got everything i need, but double check is always a good idea.I bought pre op and post vitamins from "Make me heal",j got bromeline and today I took my prescription to Walgreens and I also got Seneca S for constipation.I cleaned my house over the weekend, next week will cook and have it freeze some food.Any idea of something else? Now,just wait and relax!!!

I'd recommend getting your armpits waxed!! I never heard or read that and man, that would have been a big help! It's hard to shave after...but for a great reason of course. Boobies!!! Lol...
