Last month, I turned 34 and realized that my breasts were sagging more and more. Even though I workout a lot, and use weights, my chest just looked more and more pitiful. My chests muscles were getting stronger, but my breasts lose fat first, so they just looked like small rocks hiding in wet, saggy socks. I hemmed and hawed until finally I decided to a consult on August 6. I loved the computer imaging and getting to "try on" the implants. I thought about it for approximately two hours, and decided to go for it. I went with silicone 397cc's under the muscle. Yesterday, I went to have the surgery done at 6am. My husband dropped me off, then immediately left to take our child to school. Then I started to get anxious, really nervous and the nurse put my IV in, and it hurt so bad. I started to have second (and third and fourth) thoughts, wondering how many people walked out at this point. Then I took some deep breaths, let my mind wander, came back to thinking about breast implants, and realized I was smiling, so I knew that I was doing the right thing for me. About that time, my husband got there and we were able to chat for a few minutes. The doctor came in, drew on my chest and then it was time for surgery! The next thing I knew, I was getting in the car and then I was home. I slept for most of the day, but about 3:00 started to wake up for real. I love my new boobs. They're enormous. I know the swelling will go down and they'll settle into place over the next year, but right now I am just in love with massive chest boulders!

So glad your surgery went well and that you love your boulders. Yes, the swelling will go down but they will settle in beautifully. Feel free to join the August 2015 breast augmentation surgery forum for some additional recovery support. Update us again soon!

One Week Post-Op

I went to my check-up today. I just saw a nurse (the doctor will do my two-week checkup). She said everything looked good, the swelling is going down as expected. She was pleased that my body is recovering so well. The worst part of the past week for me was not boob pain, but the constipation (and subsequent laxatives) that came with taking all those different medicines. The nurse did say that I can wear any kind of soft bra now, but nothing that pushes the girls up or together until they've dropped to where I like. I am so happy I did this!

Day 14

The doctor took the tape off my chest yesterday and gave me the go ahead to start sleeping on my back. It's not easy, but it's better than sleeping upright! He also said I could do light cardio, like walking as long as there's not a lot of bouncing and no weights. I'm so excited to be exercising again!

My breasts feel pretty good but the nipples are hyper sensitive. The doctor said that was a good thing, better than numb. And the incision feels like a paper cut, it stings a little and itches a little, but isn't too bad.

I'm still very pleased with my new figure!
