14 months Post Op - finally some pics!

Well it's been over a year and I could not be happier with my results. At about 8 months I started really noticing a change in the way my belly looks. It was like it flattened out more. Now at over a year it's even better. My weight has fluctuated by 7lbs and during the winter I noticed that my boobs did gain some weight a little. Then right at a year after surgery I got my weight back down to 124 and LOVE the way I look. I am doing more muscle core work also and although I am not seeing a six pack I do feel tight and fantastic!!! my scars are starting to fade. Some areas are keloiding a little but I had a feeling they would as my body is prone to that anyway. It's weird it's more keloiding on my right side than my left. The scar is still purple just in the middle and I think another year and that should fade also. My belly button looks OK. I think it actually looks better than it did before I had kids.. I had a total outty. lol. It's got some keloiding scar around part of it but not bad enough to revise the surgery. I LOVE my boobs and they are the perfect C cup size and totally look the same size however my left looks like its in a lower pocket on my chest which I don't know if anything can be done with that I would have to ask. When I line my fingers under each boob crease it's a finger width lower.. it's just how my body is I think. The implants themselves are the same size and the nipples are symmetrical so I guess that's about as good as it gets? not too concerned because when I wear a bra or bathing suit you don't notice at all. Boobs look very natural so I don't think people notice too much. I sleep on my left side all the time so I do get weird sensations in my left side like it feels like it may have some more scarring than the right (my favourite boob lol) that is about the extent of my problems.. Having the surgery has just given me so much more confidence in myself and I feel great putting on clothes and just overall very happy with the surgery. As more time goes on I have no problem telling people I had it done. It was worth every penny!!! I would do it all again.

7 weeks post op.

Hey so life has resumed to normal and working out 6 days a week but nothing strenuous until this past week. I did yoga earlier this week which was totally fine but couldn't do cobra. It just didn't feel right yet. Today I ran for 40 mins and just towards the end I felt my abs really tightening. Took some ibuprofen just to make sure I didnt do anything crazy to the muscle. We will see how I feel tomorrow! Overall I feel fantastic! When I cough or sneeze it still hurts a little but it's manageable. I still have the front area trying to heal. A couple of weeks ago when I saw the dr he said to put peroxide on ther three times a day but then I saw a stitch coming out so I went back and he cut it out, cleaned it out and within the day the whole got smaller. They told me it has to heal from inside so it is really taking some time. I can't imagine if it was bigger than that! Anyone who does I seriously feel for you! So in the pics you can see just under BB the small little home still healing. It doesn't hurt at all. Can't believe its been 7 weeks already! I had a job today where they were like 'you had 3 girls and you look so good' 'how did you get such a flat tummy?' To which I replied 'it took a lot of work!' (If only they new it was all my own work ;) ) I cannot think of any decent response to strangers... So that's what I come up with. Lol. BB is getting there. I am seeing a bit of keloiding at the top and strangely enough on my TT incision my left side is a thicker scar. Starting to do scar treatment though hopefully that will calm down. All is wonderful though and could not be happier it was the best decision of my life!!! Even the days I am bloated I turn sideways... Still flat!!! Woohoo! LOVE dr Romanelli he has made me so much more confident in my body, sexier and just so happy with the results. My husband literally cannot keep his hands off me. Bringing back more spontenaety which is always a good thing!!!

POD27

The last few days I have felt like i have a lot more movement in my tummy. Still taking the exercise easy but feel like my stomach is less swollen if that makes sense. The little scar that formed after surgery under BB was healing well except the very center which is now infected. :( I have been wearing regular CG's trying different ones each day and I am not sure if I just irritated it or it's just an infection that was struggling to go away. Called the PS today and told me to take antibiotics and place a thin layer of bacitracin on the area and I just placed a non stick gauze pad over it. You can see infection in the pic. (Smaller than a dime). When I look at it its a little deep like I am looking inside my belly... it's kinda creepy.. Fingers crossed it won't scar too bad. Yesterday I wore a CG that covered my boobs also and when I took it off that made my left boob look lower. My boobs definitely softened and are definitely a big C. Very proportionate to my body and I love them but definitely prepare yourself that they will go down a little and soften up. When I massage them they totally feel real and soft. I am Very happy but I could totally understand boob greed I kinda liked them swollen a little ;) my left nipple and scar above it elongates my nipple so it kinda looks weird but I am just being nitpicky... there also is a noticeable dent that appears and disappears which I think is the difference between the implant (that's still in position) and my actual breast tissue. Very interesting and a must ask question for the PS on Monday. I had an appt for a week from now but they want to see me monday just to check infection. On a good note I am wearing tight shirts again and feeling awesome and totally loving my new figure!!! So is hubby who cannot keep his hands off me! Oh yeah about a week ago that resumed also and was totally fine! Lol. :)
