Hi everyone I have had huge breasts since I was 13. Always wearing baggy clothes and trying to hide them. They pulled on my neck and back and shopping for bathing suits and all other clothing was a nightmare. I finally found an amazing doctor on long island who goes to battle with health insurance carriers for her patients and her bedside manner was amazing. I had my surgery yesterday May 6. I got to hospital at 10 am was in surgery by 1145 and in recovery by 2 discharged by 330. The anesthesiologist was great and I recovered quickly with zero nausea. (I drink a lot of wine so I'm convinced my tolerance is high.) My only complaint is the pain near the drain site. I have tightness tugging and stinging but nothing unbearable. I sleep with a boppy nursing pillow wrapped around under my legs propped on two pillows and I am very comfy. I switch back n forth between percocet and extra strength Tylenol. My boyfriend is here waiting on me hand a foot. Oh and I got my period morning of surgery. That was not fun. Can't wear a tampon to surgery. The cramps on the way to hospital didn't help my nerves and anxiety.
Overall I feel emotionally well and my pain level is a 3-7...I'm a wimp.

Thank you for joining us.  You will feel fantastic very shortly, but for now stay on top of the pain meds for the first week or so.  How did the weekend go for you?

Good riddance surgical bra

I was put into a genie bra today which I don't understand considering I have to pull it over my head. I brought my own front closure fruit of loom sport bra but they preferred to put me in the genie. Either way I'm so much more comfortable today. PA said to put arnicare cream on the bruising staying away from incisions. I can finally shower. I'm itchy today. Seem to be gaining sensations all over my breasts. I forgot to ask PS how much was removed but they are so nice and perky and small. I think I love them. My pain is a 2 and I'm off percocet only taking extra strength Tylenol and I'm a pain wimp. Sleeping like a rock bc I have xanax RX. So far so good.

My shower was amazing. I didn't want to get out. After the shower I've been dizzy and slightly nauseous. Not sure why. The shower was exhausting.
