For a long time I though my nose was just to big for my face that it overwhelmed and unbalanced my face a lot. So the morning of august 16th i had my rhinoplasty done. Its now been 24 hours sense then and I am glad i got through the first night as I think that is the hardest. I trust my doctor completely and I am glad I chose him.

Its the 4th day after surgery and Im feel ok, pain killers are helping and i have gotten to walk around. I just can wait to take this stuff off my nose. I am going to a post op tmrw.

not that great but I believe its because i took my antibiotic without food this morning and had the urge to vomit. also my nose feels runny. Still wearing the drip pad. They told me i need it until the cast comes off thursday so I wear this silly thing but I think i'm going to take it off when eating. I wasn't taking it off when eating and it would get dirty and I would have to keep changing it. My nose feels dry but I know there are stitches in it. I can see the stitches too. What about you? How are you doing?hopefully better than me.
the part under neath my nose between the nostrils...it used to droop down...he lifted it and put sutures there so now my nostrils are up. It's weird because it pulls my mouth up and its very noticeable to me.

I vomited after taking a pain pill and antibiotic. It sucked because I thought I would ruin the results but it all happened so fast and effortlessly that it was ok. So I have been cutting my pain pills in half and spreading times out, and haven't had any more nausea.

Hey Nutritionbabe-it's day 3 for me. Glad to hear yours is going good so far. Mine's been rather painful but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I still have drip pad too, they said I could take it off after 2 days but I'm still draining so no sense in taking it off yet.

I'm still wearing the drip pad too because I find that after putting the saline in...it all just drips down.

Oh well everyone reacts differently, My eyes used be swollen and now it moved to my cheeks now i look like a blow fish. i cant wait to heal. But its only been day 4 post op so i am really swollen.
