The first week was more intense than I expected. I was more swollen than I thought I would be and I ended up with quite a "shiner" from fat being injected under my eyes. I definitely cannot over emphasize the importance of frozen peas! It makes the pain tolerable as you heal and just helps so much to sleep and rest! You will feel swollen for a good 2 1/2 weeks but it gets a lot better after the two week mark. I still had social obligations so I showed up and just made the most of it. If I could have been off the grid for an extra week it would have been easier. By 3-4 weeks you start to feel like yourself again. For me, the results were exactly what I hoped for so definitely worth it!!
