I have always had small breasts and have always been self conscious about their shape. After having 2 kids and nursing both of them, my 2 small breasts had become even smaller and empty feeling. After talking to several co-workers, I discovered that many of them had implants and absolutely loved them. I decided that I was going to do it!!

High implants? Low nipples? Or both?

Hi ladies! Here are a few pics of my anatomical implants. These photos are taken at about 3 weeks post op. I'm not in love yet.

Hi, I have low nipples too, the left slightly more than the right. My PS measured and gave me the maximum lift that a teardrop implant could give without having an actual lollipop lift. I am 6 weeks and my nipples are in an ok place. Your implants will drop down a little more and as they do, the nipple should lift a little. (Based on my experience only).
Good luck with your results.

Hi bunny! Yours are shaping up nicely. I am slightly lower on the left side as well. Thank you for commenting on my post. You give me hope! I've convinced myself that I need revision work, but hopefully I'll get results like yours. Thanks again!!

Ur a very welcome. The PS can only do so much with what we've given him to work with. Haha
I was having random thoughts about them looking worse after surgery but every time I check them out, I let out a sigh of relief. I went to my post op appoint yesterday and my surgeons pretty pleased with himself. He said that at 6 weeks, they have basically dropped as far as they are going to and now it's just the softening up and nipple desensitising left to do over the next 6 weeks. By three months the transformation should be complete. I'll post another pic for you very soon.

Your still in your early weeks, I would think once they settle (3 months) they will go down more. I don't personally think you have to much to worry about. Give it a little while I think all will be fine.

I hope so!

I was wondering what profile you got. I have MF on one side and MXF on the other and it lifted my nipples right up. Did your dr suggest a strap afterward?

Hi there. They are anatomical, so I'm not sure if they come in different profiles like round implants come in. But no, my doc never mentioned profile styles to me. And nope, they didn't recommend a strap either. I sent them an email last week with pics and they said my implants looked good. Not sure I agree, but I'll wait it out. A couple of realself docs have commented on my pics and say I most likely will need revision.

I have the 410 anotomical implants and they do come in several profiles and heights. Mine are almost 3 months old and how the doctor explained it to me was because they are textured he puts them right where he wanted them to be because they don't move much just the swelling that goes down. I did have over 3 inches of swelling in that first couple of weeks but they never really dropped at all. I have a bunch of pictures up of my first month after surgery. I

I have noticed that they got bigger after the second month. I was measured as a 34 DD at 7 weeks and a 34 DDD a couple of weeks later.

Thank you, It is amazing what a couple of weeks will make in your recovery. Just keep taking pictures so you can go back and track your progress it helps to see the changes.

Have they dropped at all? Fluffed at all? Will you take new photos please? That's how my breasts look.

3 month update

So, I have finally hit the 3 month mark. My results are not what I had hoped for. I am satisfied with the right breast, but not the left. I feel that my inframary fold should have been lowered during my surgery. I have NO lower pole on the left breast. I was told multiple times at my follow up apointment that I have a "very good" end result.

It's hard to know if your results are an improvement on what you had before because there are no before photos. If you had asymmetrical breasts before and /or low nipples bordering on needing a lift, without surgically correcting those issues, your breasts won't be perfect and perky with just implants. Implants really only add volume and anatomical ones can only lift a nipple up very very marginally.
I have teardrop textured implants as well. I bordered on a lift but decided not to but understood that the left nipple would always be slightly lower than the right. I am three and a half months and am happy with my results (plus I'm almost 50 so perfect boobs might've looked a bit odd) lol
Ask the doctors here on realself for advice. They are always helpful.

Hey! I was pretty symmetric in size prior to surgery. I believe the left nipple was a .5 cm lower than the right. I was also told that I did not need a lift. Unfortunately, since week 3, some of the realself docs were saying that I would likely need a revision. If anything, I am getting used to them, but am not happy with them. Live and learn! Glad you are doing well!

Oh that's not good. After the difficult decision of do I/don't I and then the worry of will they turn out how I hope, the pain of the surgery and recovery, the last thing you want is a revision. You may wish to get a second opinion before going back to your original surgeon. It's your body and you expect the dr to be nothing but perfect with his work so it's not a case of you live n learn. You deserve your perfect outcome.
Good luck and thank you.

Mine are very similar. It isn't what I dreamed it would be, especially on the right. My PS agreed right away that the implant is not where he wanted it to be. It should have dropped down which would have raised the nipple up and said "it sucks" you will have to replace it. Then I got the price for revision . $2125. I'm really mad about a second surgery after just paying 7700. He gave me singular to see if it will soften the scar tissue but I don't think it is cap con. I think it is mal position but he is calling it cap con because Sientra pays him to replace. PS really have us where they want us. We have no recourse because it is elective. At least my PS is honest that it is not an acceptable result. Your second photo looks much better than the first photo. I'm not sure what I'll do. If I were single I'd care more but I'm married and my hubby doesn't care. I look good in clothes and a bikini. Do you look good in a bra? Does the upper pole feel really hard?

Hey there! Sorry to hear that you're going through the same thing. I have seen 2 Plastic surgeons for a second opinion and they both say that I need a lollipop lift to get my desired result. I'm considering having it done in January. The PS says the surgery recovery will be easy compared to the initial augmentation. I feel like I look okay in a bra. I wouldn't say that they feel hard. Anyhow, it's just money right?? Hahaha. I hope your right breast settles down so you don't need that revision! Good luck!!
October 28, 2015
I think I would wait another three months if I were you. Because they are textured they will not drop but if they are soft and you look good in a bra I would leave it alone. The only reason I'm considering a revision is that it hurts where my bra strap crosses the implant. If you do change the implants ask about the Sientra Warranty. Good luck to you.

Hi! I was just wondering what ever happened with your implants and if your any happier? I'm having some of the same issues.
