I am 36 with no kids. I used to be a full D-cup 10-15 years ago and have lost breast volume due to weight loss and normal aging process. I am now a C-cup but the tops of my bras tend to have gaps. I want to get back to where I once was and want to stay as natural-looking as possible. Due to the sagging I currently have in my breasts, the doctor has recommended a lift in conjunction with my implants. I wanted to avoid getting a lift but after having my consult, I will get the best results with a purse string lift. I have decided on the smooth silicone gel implants for a more natural feel. I debated on the gummy bear implants because they do hold their shape better but when it came down to it, I really wanted the most natural feel. During my consult a tried on different sizers to get a feel for what I will look like. I admit that the sizes seemed large on me but the consultant said that was a very common feeling for women. Also, many women say they don't want to go too big (myself included) but the consultant and the doctor said that it's better to go a little bigger than you think you want. The doctor/clinic I am going to is highly rated so I am putting some trust into their experiences. Based on the sizers I tried on, I am looking to get approximately 480 cc implants. My left breast has less volume so whatever I end up with, the left will have more than the right. The max I am looking to go is 520 cc's. During surgery the doctor will try on different sizes to determine the best look so I have given him a range to work with 450 cc - 520 cc. I'm 5 foot 8 inches and have a more athletic/solid build so the doctor said I could pull off a larger size. The implants will be sub facial (above the muscle). I have been wanting implants for several years and am so excited it's finally time to do it. I do have some anxiety as I imagine is normal but feel that I've chosen the best doctor for me.

My surgery is close to a week away. I'm can't wait to see my results! I've had a wave of emotions over the past month, between worry and excitement. I have been a bit concerned about the size and whether I will look too top heavy. I want a fuller chest but also don't want to look completely over the top as I work in the financial industry and it wouldn't look appropriate. After reading different reviews and articles, I am comfortable with providing a size range and letting the doctor decide what will best achieve the look I'm going for. Somewhere between the 450 - 520 cc range is what I feel comfortable with. I do like a more rounded, wider breast-look. Here are some of my wish pictures. I'm hoping to end up with something similar to this though I know everyone's body is unique and results vary from person to person. I'll keep you updated with my progress!

Surgery Complete. Can't Wait for the Final Results to Show Through

I had my surgery on 6/3 and am 4 days post-op. The whole process went smoothly and with manageable discomfort. I still have a lot of swelling but I can tell my boobs will look great after the healing process is complete. I ended up with 520 cc in both breasts and my left breast required a higher lift than my right. I took all my mediations as instructed and thankfully did not experience any nausea. There is some pain in the breasts but mostly it just feels tight and uncomfortable. I am still putting ice packs on a few times a day.
