I had butt lift and implants one year ago and a revision in October and Another revision again this April. I want to take the time to express what I have gone through so that I may help others considering having this done.
I do not think that many have butt lift and implants at same time. I am 5'5" 113 pounds.

I agree with you that surgery is not to be taken lightly and research needs to go into the process of choosing a doctor and deciding if one truly wants surgery. I've been a patient of Dr. Kortesis for three years now and he is very good about advising what is right for me. Two years ago I wanted to have smart lipo on my stomach and he told me I was not a good condidate for that because my skin lost elasticity and I'd end up with loose skin. I was so disappointed when he told me that so 4 weeks later I went back to him for another consultation and asked to look at my stomach again. He told me the same thing that I would not be happy with having loose skin if he did the smart lipo. He was right and I was so greatful that he is the type of doctor that gives special attention to every patient to make sure the right decisions are made. When he did my breast augmentation, I told him I wanted my breast to look and feel as natural as possible. Based on my request, he made his recommendations, I decided on that and the result exceeded my expectations.
HE RECOMMENDED THIS. I went in for butt lift he no idea of butt implants.
Wow...i'm so sorry you are going through all this. I can so relate to your anxiety and distress. I have had poor outcome with previous surgeries (breast) and had redos etc. It is so disturbing and almost the worst part is to be left in the cold and dismissed by the doctor. I found that family kind of had the take "you did this to yourself...". For these and many more reasons i am affraid to try to improve my butt implants although i am. Not happy at 4 months. Mine are more visible every day and one has not dropped. Also, my dr said i need an under the butt cheek type lift. Is that what you had too? Was that a problem too? My dr said the scars are not THAT bad. Ugh! Not exactly thrilled to hear he had to add that emphasis. Hope you will be feeling better and happy soon!
