MiraDry is Totally Worth the Money - Hummelstown, PA
UPDATED FROM MWP17

6 weeks after first procedure
WORTH IT$3,000
It's been 6 weeks after my first procedure that was set at a level 2. I wanted to wait to write an updated review until my armpits were back to normal. My pits are back to normal. There is no swelling, altered sensations, tingling, etc. I would say that my sweating has been reduced by 80%+. I get some moisture when I work out but that is it. MiraDry is truly a life changing procedure! Before my procedure I would use antiperspirant that had high aluminum chloride concentrations. Now I use natural deodorants from whole foods because I do not sweat from my under arms like I used to. My under arms do not stink of BO if i do not wear deodorant. I also had a significant reduction in my under arm hair. One thing I still suffer from is phantom sweating. When I get very hot when I'm in the sun, I feel as if I'm profusely sweating from my under arms but then I feel my pits and my shirt and there is virtually no sweat or sweat marks. I am sure I will get over this phantom sweating as my mind gets used to it. I look forward to my second treatment.

I have been bothered with underarm sweat for...
I have been bothered with underarm sweat for awhile. My under arms would sweat just sitting on my couch reading a book or checking an email. I could only wear white or black shirts to hide the under arm stains. I had to get this procedure done because the sweat stains were just too embarassing. I live in Pittsburgh, Pa and no doctors in the Pittsburgh area had the miraDry machine so I had to drive to Hummelstown, Pa to have the procedure done by Dr. Carter. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Carter. He was very attentive, kind, and just an overall great Doctor. The worst part about the procedure is getting numbed up. I had the procedure done on a level 2 and I felt no pain what so ever. Right after the procedure, I applied arnica gel to my armpits and iced on and off for 24 hours. Arnica gel is supposed to help with injuries/bruises. I guess the ice and arnica helped because I did not swell up too much and I had not pain. I never had to take any advil or anything. I had my first procedure 4 days ago and I am basically sweat free. Although, I have a little moisture but its not like a water faucet under my arms anymore ( I do not know if the moisture is part of the healing process or what). One things I noticed is that I have phantom sweating. I feel as if my arm pits are profusely sweating, but when I check my pits and my shirt their is virtually no sweat. I guess its because for so long I suffered from excessive sweating and my mind does not know what to do now. MiraDry is totally worth it. I will post an update in a few weeks.
You should check out Jenasc's review - they talk about phantom sweating too. Glad you are dry so far, hopefully it stays that way!!
