So, I've decided to document my journey to new boobs! I've always considered a breast augmentation, but never really needed one. I had pretty nice boobs until I gained 65lbs during my pregnancy. My boobs went from a full 34B to a 38D. I lost all of the weight post pregnancy without even trying...but I also lost my boobs. They deflated. I currently wear a 32D (Victoria's Secret sizing ????) but the majority of my breast tissue is in the lower pole. I'm 5' and weigh 110. I'm just ready for my naked boobs to look like they do in a bra!
My hubby is super on board with my decision and I have my first consultation set for January 12! I cannot wait!

A bit saggy before pics (pseudoptosis maybe?)

I figured I'd post some stats and pictures of my "befores" which are more like "currentlies" because my true "befores" were much prettier pre pregnancy (which was 5 years ago). ;) Anyway, my stats:
Age: 31
Height: 5'
Weight: 110lbs
Bra: 32D (says Victoria's Secret *eyeroll*)
Underbust: 29"
Shirt: small
Jeans: 3/4
Anyone out there that have similar stats that are on their new boobs journey or anyone similar that has already gone through with a breast augmentation? I'm hoping to avoid a lift. Fingers crossed an augmentation will do the trick. My wish boobs are not very high or round, I'd much prefer my boobs the way they are just much fuller! I'll post some wish pics soon. My first consultation is in less than 2 weeks!
Happy New Year's Eve!

my breasts are similar only more sag. I am obsessed with the thought of getting breasts that I will love after augmentation and will be scheduling surgery as soon as I lose between 15-20 pounds. I never thought I would have the nerve to do it, always feared anesthesia too much, but since being introduced to this site and learning there are Drs who can do this with local anesthetic I am super excited! I am 49 and have been embarrassed to even allow my husband to see them for as long as I can remember. Now that I am a (young) grandmother I feel THIS YEAR is the time for me-so for my big 5-o I look forward to having my own 'DREAM BOOBS' :) I could use a lift but I absolutely refuse to consider that-I dont mind slightly lower set aereolas and have seen great results with women who also chose implants only -as they say you can always get the lift afterward if you desire. I am excited for you! It looks like you will have stunning results and should be able to avoid the lift!

Thank you! This is definitely a decision for "you" only! It has to be what you are comfortable with and what will make you feel better. I know that it took me a while to decide I was going to do this for ME! Congratulations on becoming a grandmother! How wonderful. :)
I was also afraid of anesthesia, but I had to have gallbladder surgery two years ago and I survived that. I heard the recovery from that is worse than a breast augmentation, so I should be good!
I bet your husband loves you and your current breasts just fine. Don't be ashamed of who you are or what you currently look like. You LOOK as beautiful as you FEEL. So feel beautiful!

Hi, a bit older than you .I just had surgery on Dec 28th I'm 43yrs.old 5'1 108lbs. I got 435cc sientra mod+ under muscle. Surgery went smoothly. A lot of pressure on chest breathing was a little difficult but only for that day. Keep on top of your pain medication even if you feel fine... I made the mistake of letting myself try to go past the 4hr.mark and boy did I regret that. And just a little advice take a stool softener the pain pills constipate you. I'm using colace 100mg.twice a day. You will also be pretty dependant on help for the day of and day after. Congrats and good luck.

Hi! I had gallbladder surgery a couple years ago and heard that the pain from that can be worse. I was so afraid to stop the medicine even though I generally don't even take headache medicine! I will be sure to stay on the pain relievers when the time comes. Thanks for the advice! I'll take all I can get. I am so excited and happy to be able to share my experience with others! I'm going to go check out your reviews. Happy New Year!

Omg good luck .. keep me posted. We have identical features and I'm excited to see your results

Thank you! I really hope because my lower pole does not touch my skin under my breasts hardly at all that I will not require a lift. That is my main concern up to this point. I will continue updating my journey! Thank you again for the support! :)

I don't think you need to have a lift! The dual plane technique apparently helps move some tissue around to help with the filling out part if you go under the muscle. Get more than one opinion if you can!
January 1, 2017
Yes! I've read a lot about dual plane. The PS I am seeing next week is in the top 1% in Florida for BA. I know he does 99% of his surgeries under the muscle, but I'll find out if it is completely or dual plane. I'm hoping that I am comfortable with him and we are on the same page. While I am ready to get this done, I will not sacrifice the outcome!
The before (and after) you posted from your PS is probably the closest I have seen to my own before. I'd pay triple the amount if I knew my after would be as great as yours! Super happy for you! My profile picture is what I had pre-baby..and I want them back! <3

I have similar stats as you and choose to do the lift. I wanted them not only full but also perky again! I did 3 consultations. 1 Dr said definite lift, another said I could get by without one and the surgeon I ended up going with said I could get by without the lift but they'd have to do large implants and it might end up looking like I'd need a reduction. That wasn't the look I was going for. I didn't want to look too top heavy. Good luck to you and whatever you decide!

Thank you so much! My hope is that I can stay in the cc range that I want and it be enough to fill what's deflated! If not, I'll definitely have to consider (and ultimately go with) the lift, as well. I'll see what my first consult brings tomorrow!

Wish Pics
LovemyhubJanuary 1, 2017
As usual, I'm spending most of my free time on RealSelf and researching breast augmentation before and after results. You ladies look fabulous, by the way! I cannot wait to be able to share more of my actual journey. Until then (11 days until I have my first consultation), here are some wish pics. I tried really hard to find results that had befores similar to my current breasts: i.e. slightly deflated with most breast tissue in the lower pole. Fingers crossed I will have beautiful results like my wish pics.

Hello!!! I am 5ft as well and if I were to post photos they would look similar to yours. Congrats on making the decision to get this done. I like your wish pics!
I am going for a small D. My PS says that I would need a 450cc Mod Plus, smooth round to achieve the look I was wanting. I have been told in the past that I would need a lift but my current PS says that I am right at the point where I could go either way. Slightly saggy but not enough that it would adversely affect the end result.
I had to cancel my surgery (scheduled for 23 Dec) due to blood work issues. Working on that now. I will definitely be following your progress....Best wishes to you!

Hi!! Ugh! I'm sorry to hear you had to reschedule. I was apprehensive to post photos but others' photos have proven so incredibly helpful to me that I just had to in case it may help another. It really increases my enthusiasm to hear that my chances of needing a lift are lower and lower with each comment like yours! Thanks! =) I am hoping to schedule mine for the week of spring break (March 10th-ish). I am a teacher and having the week off already will be super helpful. I've been throwing ccs around in my head and have been stuck on 350-400 high profile or mod+. I know it will obviously depend on measurements and what the PS suggests..but that won't stop me from being as educated on the topic as possible. ;)
I have posted a question (and another tonight waiting to be approved) in regards to the lift just to see what the online doctors say..hoping for more positive info from them. Anyway, stay in touch! Good luck to you! <3
