Skin Cancer Removal from Nose

Completely stress-free! Dr Somia was very reassuring during the initial consultation, carefully explaining all aspects of the procedure (BCC having to be cut from the side of my nose and replaced with skin flap from upper lip), and putting me at ease straight away.
I had day surgery at HSS Hospital, Norwest Sydney and could not recommend it more highly; every staff member, from admissions clerk to the surgeon and anaesthetist were very caring and professional. Both doctors spoke to me before the procedure and also in the recovery room.
During all follow-up visits, including one more small procedure with Dr Somia, no problems were encountered. I am extremely happy with the result; even though the graft on my nose was quite prominent initially, it has since settled down, as promised, and is now hardly noticeable.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Somia to anyone contemplating or needing plastic surgery. His obvious competence in his work and caring, professional manner would be reassuring to any patient.
