I had my my surgery in December 2012, and I am not happy with my results. I really wish daily that I never had it done. I had a tummy tuck, lipo to arms, legs, flanks, and stomach. He also shaped my hips. So, my end result is permanent bruising, flanks were never liposuctioned, dents in my arms, stomach and hips uneven, and my tummy tuck scar is not at the bikini line it's going down my side. I hate my body now more than I did before. As I stated before, I really wish I would have did more research on the doctor and procedures, because now I can't wear short sleeve shirts or dresses because my arms are ugly. Don't do it or find another doctor.

That's really sad to hear but I know it happens. Do you care to share pics?

You should post photos , especially of the arms. That's a procedure a lot of people are unsure of.

Hi, I just posted pictures about 3 mins ago. I really wish I would have never had it or chose another doctor.

You were much too far from your ideal weight prior to your procedures, and so your results were suboptimal.

Thank you for posting, and no I was not from my ideal weight prior to the procedure. Dr. Cortes did not do a great job. It was a waste of money. Besides the dents in my arm came immediately after the procedure as a result from the lipo. And when I had a doctor to look at my tummy tuck, he confirmed that this was the worst job he had ever seen. So, no this had nothing to do with my weight, but the doctor who messed me over.

Here's me being honest ... First of all you have some nice curves happening. I do see what you mean in your arms and the bruising on your back. The trouble with lipo is that it sucks out the fat but if your skin doesn't have the elasticity it will hang there. Plus I know it's an art and if not done right can leave you "lumpy". Arm surgery where they cut it straight down and do a tuck would be your only option but it will leave a long scar. As for the TT scar, it looks like he tried to place it low. It's long to avoid the "dog ear" and if he cut it straight across your bikini line and not like he did you would most likely end up with a flap on either side. You think you hate this look... Whoa baby... It wouldn't be pretty. Lastly, weight loss would improve your overall look. Easy to say but not easy to do. I'm struggling with the 10 pounds I put on after my TT and I no longer have that "flat look" even though I'm very tall and 10 pounds shouldn't make that much of a difference. Time to start looking at what you like as opposed to what you don't. Rock your curves girl!

Thanks for the honest answer. I am losing weight but my arms are getting worse. They looked like this after surgery and he told Mr to loft weights, and I have been doing this every since only to see no results. Secondly, I love my curves, I have had them my whole life. Just wanted to get the TT because I had kids. I have thought about getting the arm surgery to remove skin but not sure; and, I'm looking at a tattoo to cover up my ugly scar and bruising. Anyway, thanks for commenting.

Yes do the tattoo. That was the best decision I made. Trust me.

I'm really sorry to hear this happened to you. Believe me, I can relate. Like others have said, these doctors don't understand how long it takes to save this money and it seems no one wants to take responsibility when they mess up. It's just the honest thing to do!

Thanks, I am soon.

GLP, thank you! I am making the best of this situation.

I noticed that he have a tendency to end his TT insicions on the hips instead on the waist line which is crazy.. That's why it's important to make sure he mark you up before surgery so you know where the scar will be place.. my scar is higher up on one side and it's ugly smh but I'm going to try hard to fade it away or get a tattoo.. I just do not understand what these PS be thinking sometimes smh.. Look into scar revision :)

It's so crazy because he did mark me and I was cool with that. But it just wasn't my end results. I am also looking at a tattoo to cover up the scar and bruising.

You have nice curves. I think you might just need a round two - lipo + laser therapy for the scar. I know it sucks because you want it perfect the first time because that is what you thought you were getting. You have a great shape. I really hate to see girls unhappy with their results, especially when you feel like you were tricked. Sorry about your experience but thank you for not being quite about it.

Thanks! I am truly weighing all of my options before getting anything done.
