Transition to Spanx

WORTH IT$10,480
Well I'm 6.5 weeks PO and making the transition to wearing spanx during the work day and CG at home and to sleep. I'm excited about that. The only issue is pulling up tight spanx over my incision. I still have a thin gauze bandage the length of my incision for protection. The spanx are tighter than my CG, especially on my legs. I bought one pair with legs and one without. Hope that's okay. My tummy is mostly flat but I still have to squeeze my butt and legs in there!

did u have lovenox shots was it hard to do?
I am glad I saw your review. My tt was January 7th. I have an outtie bb also. I just had an early bb revision to try to make it an innie. My ps has decided to retire and is not operating after the end of May. I might also get what I think are dog ears fixed this month. I have not seen anyone else that has ended up with an outtie bb. Now I don't feel so alone in my healing process. My ps said it would probably go in but it will take a while. Unfortunately I can't wait for my swelling to go away. I don't want to have to pay to go to a new ps if it didn't go in. My ps also thinks my dog ears will go away but I am afraid they won't. The nurse said I might just have to tell the ps that I want them cut off before he is done operating this month. I'm just afraid I will end up having to pay more money to someone else when all my revisions were to be covered with the cost of my tt. I wish another ps was taking over his practice but they are closing for good. I figured I'd ask for a copy of my records incase I have to see another ps for any revisions.

Swelling after coughing for days

I've been sick with a head cold since Friday. Coughing has done a number in my tummy. From bb down it is literally hard as a rock. My PS says as swelling and tightening goes down so will be bb. We will see. I just want it flat at least :)

Will your outie belly button eventually go down? Did you have an outie before? This is what worries me the most. I don't want my belly button to look unnatural. Thank you for sharing.
My PS said it will. He said it won't be deep but not an outie. That's fine with me. I never had an outie, not even at nine months pregnant. I guess time will tell. My tummy is so hard that my belly button can't go in right now. If it doesn't I will def ask him about slight revision.
You're looking great ! My lower belly is hard and swollen like a rock although you may not be able to see it in my pic .my surgeon said to wait 3 months it will go down I WISH !!
Thank you for sharing. Guess I'm not going crazy!
You say your lower belly is hard like a rock mine as well .thats how it spouse to be ? Mine is very swollen in one side ....what yor doc said about it ?Mine think it may be hematoma im a little worried ! Happy healing .
The nurse said it is normal and I see my PS next Friday. It's my whole Lowe belly, not just one side. He checked for seroma or any signs of anything wrong each visit and everything seems good. Just takes time :)
Mine is worse on right side and ps says its fat but it hurts so I don't know
It shouldn't be fat since you just had surgery. Mine is swollen evenly but not on my hip area. Maybe you just have more inflammation on one side. My right side hurts more than left because I use it more.
You look great :) happy healing!
Thank you. Everyday is better. Well, weekends are great. Working full time had been crazy.
I can only imagine, how tiring it gets, that's no fun. But I'm glad ur better hun, all in time. Your scar looks great!!
You look great! Good surgery ...
Thank you :)

Four weeks PO

One hazy picture due to my bathroom fogging up and the other is a front view. Still an outie bb due to hard as a rock lower tummy. Healing well.

Thank you! So swollen now after work.
Hi, emily77 just checking on how you are recovering. I am a school teacher as well and would like to know how quick I will be able to go back to work?
I went back at three and a half weeks. Honestly, it was very hard. But everyone heals differently :)
