Having been morbidly obese throughout my adolescent years and after gaining 55 pounds during my pregnancy, I had tons of stretch marks and loose skin that no amount of dieting and exercise could alleviate. I have contemplated a tummy tuck for years but never had the nerve to do it since I have never had surgery of any kind or been fully put under. That all changed when I met with Dr. Bob Basu and his staff. They are the epitome of professionalism. During my consult, Dr. Basu and his staff were very attentive and thorough. The doctor took his time explaining everything I should expect and made me feel completely confident in his capabilities. I hadn't expected to make a decision during my consult, but I was so impressed with him and his staff I scheduled the procedure for 3 weeks later. He was the right surgeon for me. He is highly qualified as are all of his staff. I love Charlotte, Angela, Shannon, Taryn. Thank you all for taking care of me throughout my experience, especially Charlotte who answered my questions while she was on vacation and who took care of me during my first post op. I had my surgery 9 days ago and am very pleased with the results so far. I have had virtually no pain whatsoever. Exparel. Make sure you get it. I have no qualms about going back to Dr. Basu for other procedures I may consider in the future. As a matter of fact, I am going in Monday for facial fillers and will definitely update with my experience. I have recommended Dr. Basu and his staff to family and friends and to anyone who is considering any type of cosmetic surgery. This surgery was my first experience, and I can't stress enough, what an incredibly good experience this surgery has been. You will be in great hands.

I probably sound like a broken record, but I have to commend Dr. Basu and his entire staff again for their friendliness and professionalism. I always feel well taken care of and among people who take pride in their work. I was not scheduled to see Dr. Basu during my second post op as he was in surgery. He finished the surgery while I was still there and asked me if I'd like him to take a look at my tummy. I thought it was pretty awesome that he and Linnea took the time to see me even though I wasn't scheduled to see them. Things like that will keep me going back!
