32 7 Kids and Its Time for a Change Asap!!! TT,MR and Lipo - Houston, TX

Hey changing for me, congrats on your surgery date..I am having my TT on Dec 19 by Dr Gill also...They are such wonderful ppl and I'm glad I chose him considering I had like 4 other consutations..I'm getting scared myself but I'm like you it has to be done.

Good luck! I'm 38 and we're about the same height and weight. My TT procedure is scheduled for Dec. 18th.

What all did y'all talk about in the pre-op? Did you get prescriptions? Before pictures? Markings? How much do you have to pay by that date? I'd like to know so I'm prepared. My pre-op with Dr. Gill is December 30. I honk my biggest concern is I want my belly button to look natural and I want my TT scar to be low, even & thin. I've seen some hat are way crooked. And I know his is better than having loose saggy skin, but I've seen a lot of clean Thin scars so i know they can do it. It just takes a little more time. What are your biggest concerns? Also, what surgery room are you using? I went with his surgery room over on 1960 because it was cheaper than the one in the woodlands. I'm glad we get to stay overnight with nurse care. I like to be taken care of when i don't feel good and nurses always do such a good job :) my husband will be helping me but I hate to ask for help and I know the nurses check on us hourly. :) so I don't feel as bad asking for something. Sorry if i ask too many questions, it's just nice to talk to someone who will be using the same Dr. I think I've found 2 others as well on RealSelf but i don't remember their user names :/

Just had my tummy tuck 11-26 the day before thanksgiving I am 18 days post op today a little swollen but over all feeling great! I went back to work on my 12th day only because I have a desk job. I am very happy with my results already. One tip going into your surgery everyone's body heals differently, some heal faster then others. Have patience, you will need a lot of help in the beginning I know I did. I purchased a toilet riser which worked wonders and slept in my recliner. You will do fine and will love your results just have patience, listen to your body and rest.

What do you have planned for meals? I need to get a list together for grocery shopping. I know I'm doing some homemade chicken noodle soup, I found a recipe online and I'm just going to omit the salt. I bought no salt- saltine crackers. I have Greek yogurt and I really want fresh fruit but I've thought of how convenient those little fruit cups could be. I've been trying to drink more water to prepare for after surgery but it's really hard for me to drink a whole gallon/ day. The only thing I drink is water anyway, but I never drink enough. I'm excited for you!!
