Hi! After finally getting to 200 from 336 I knew this stomach wasn't going anywhere without surgery and it was time to remove the past. I am now at 185 lbs and scheduled for my surgery next Thursday. Since seeing Dr. Jaffar I feel great about him doing the procedure. He looked in my eyes every time I spoke to him, answered every question I had and his office staff was awesome when I needed something. We submitted a claim to my insurance company and they are paying to remove the apron on my lower belly. I am only paying $3500 out of pocket to get the full tummy tuck instead of just removing the lower apron. I have all kinds of different emotions as the day gets closer. My belly has always been there since I was a kid but I'm happy to finally say I'm looking forward to saying goodbye to an old friend.

Well today came and went..Dr. Jaffar was great! His bedside manner was great and made me feel awesome. He helped remove the excess skin on hips which helped making my butt look even better. As you can see I'm wearing the binder and won't get to see the real results until Wednesday. He said he was going to take off 10 to 15 lbs since I had really bad excess skin all in my belly. He said I had hips of a 13 yr old girl hiding behind it all.. I can't wait to show everyone the pics after they take off.

Well I got a sneak peek..I'm more than happy with the results. Dr. Jaffer said he even took skin off my hips so my scar extends longer than most which I ok'd before surgery. He said he took off about 15 lbs and my skin hung down to my knees after he released it from the abdomen wall. Wow! He also said I had a tiny waist hidden underneath all that skin so guess all that working out paid off after all. The first 2 days were pretty easy given I was still on the good stuff haha but after coming down off from it all, I was praying I wouldn't even cough. I'm fine after I get walking but I can't stand for long right now. I've been laying down in bed propped up like a beach chair with pillows and I'm comfortable. I walk hunched over which sucks. I have to keep the drains in another week and that damn binder on. I'm looking forward to going back to normal everyday life..

Awww thank u for keeping it up with me...everyday it's getting better and easier plus being more excited to show it off when I'm feeling better..your prayers and thoughts have been great and have really helped.
