Thigh Lift, Butt Lift, Mini Tummy Tuck, Breast Lift and Augmentation - Houston, TX

If you read my first post from a little over one year ago I hope you will also read this post before deciding to proceed with Dr. Basu and his staff. I wrote my first review after a few weeks of surgery. Shortly thereafter I had to undergo a full redo of the services (breast and thigh) in which Dr. Basu proceeded to charge me for ALL services again. My experience with Dr. Basu and his staff has been very disappointing, and I strongly suggest that you do not place your body (and pocketbook) in his hands. His staff conveniently "misplaced" my completed medical record and took 4 months in order to provide me with all of my before/after pictures and written documentation. April was completely rude and dismissive when I spoke with her regarding my legal right to access all of my medical records within a reasonable amount of time. She clearly did not care about me as a person or a former patient. Her customer service was appalling. In my medical record, the reasons as to why Dr. Basu claimed a re-do of both major surgeries (within 2 months time) were inaccurate and not truthful. Of course I would not have known how he documented had I not read the reports. Bottom line, I would never, ever, recommend Dr. Basu or his staff to anyone. I spent an ungodly amount of money and time in just 2 months to have the same procedures completed by Dr. Basu to correct what should have been done in the first surgery. Dr. Basu did not take into consideration my own pre-existing medical needs as I had clearly communicated, and I trusted him as my doctor. I have since received consultation from another surgeon and had a third sugery to correct Dr. Basu's two previous surgeries. The damage that Dr. Basu did to my breasts will still require more reconstruction in the future. I am thankful to have found THE BEST surgeon in Houston now, and I wish I had gone to this other doctor from the beginning. I hope that this review is helpful. In my opinion, a doctor of solid integrity is responsive to a patient's needs and desires and does what is rightfully necessary to correct any oversight or grievance. Even when I communicated my concerns following the first and second surgeries with Dr. Basu and his staff, they deflected responsibility and then charged me yet again to fix the oversight. Simply disappointing and outright wrong.

After having two kids, losing almost 100 lbs and having had a bad lipo experience with another doctor, I had loose skin on my thighs and hips. My butt had also lost a perky shape, even with hardcore lower body exercises. I was also in need of a revision surgery to replace my saline implants (now using gel) and another lift to maintain my breast shape. When choosing a doctor for either minimal or major surgery spend time researching doctors and seeking second/third/fourth opinions. Dr. Basu and his staff surpassed all of my expectations (which were steep!). Without reservation, I recommend Dr. Basu and his team to guide you along this exciting, yet vulnerable and life-changing experience. They provide nothing less than absolute excellence.
