Having a better day, getting all my protein in and still having gas, I know tmi, I started chicken broth and Italian ice, not getting all my broth in and taking three days just to finish my ice, still doing a lot of walking. I said I wasn't going to weigh myself but couldn't resist, down 8lbs since surgery with swelling to abdomen area. I am not going to rush it this is a process and life style change. I am still informing some of my family member of the surgery and the reaction I am getting is positive so far. One day at a time my people.

I'm sleeved
Officially sleeved. My surgery went great but the only problem I had was dizziness and having a hard time waking up, the nurses got me up and started walking me right away which help with the gas. My husband and kids right by my side through the whole process. Having a hard time getting my liquids in but my husband keeping track of it and being very encouraging. I'm suppose to walk every hour for 15 minutes but all I want to do is sleep, but other then that it's going great . Good luck to all my sleever and soon to be sleever.

Congrats!!! I was the same way, couldn't keep my eyes open for anything. Only things I was able to eat was the popsicle and juice. The broth and jello was not working for me. Take it easy, get all your walking in and the days will go by fast. I'm already on full liquids and a 7 days post op.
Congratulations... now you have a new lease on life.. with such a great support group you have in your family... you'll do awesome

6 1/2 hours until my surgery, unable to sleep I guess my nerves are getting to me. Having headache for the last two weeks my husband telling my it's stress but I think it coffee withdraws. Goodnight and next time I will be sleeved.
