I spent over a year trying and interviewing doctors to help me make my constant revision failures go away. I have been severly depressed for 4 years when this all started. I finally felt comfortable with a physicin who i felt understood my end results. Well, once again i am devastated because the grafts have already warp and my nose is bad crooked. I am warn out physically, memtally and emotionaly. Help me feel better i really have no idea what to do.

Do you work for Dr. Kridel? I noticed this is the only post you have ever made on this website. Strange!

What a nasty thing to say to someone in distress and what makes you think she abuses pills???

Just to clarify- When I said above that fellows do rhinoplasties and facelifts "in his office" - I meant that the patients being operated on by fellows are patients from Dr. Kridel's office -- NOT that the actual surgeries are being performed in his physical office. If you look at the AAFPRS Fellowships Description Handbook online (AAFPRS is the org that sets up Dr. Kridel's fellowship program), it states about Dr. Kridel's fellowship: "Cases may be available from the office for the fellow to be the primary surgeon; in the past this has included rhinoplasties and facelifts." It then later says: "Fellows are expected to help teach the University of Texas residents who rotate with us routinely." Look this up quickly because I wouldn't be surprised if this language gets altered or removed now that I've quoted it here.

Well, i wish i had a better update. I would think at 9 weeks it would start looking better but it is still crooked and actually curves like a hump now. You know i spent so much time with pictures of myself before all this happened and computer imaging and it looks like he did absolutely nothing to correct the look. It is so thin already and that is not the outcome we talked about. I guess once again i am a science experiment or a practice doll for a fellow!
