Hands down the best plastic surgeon in the Houston area!!
My experience with Dr. Funk has been phenomenal. I was dead set on going through with a rhinoplasty procedure, but like anyone else, I was completely terrified when it came to picking the right surgeon to meet my expectations. Dr. Funk ended up exceeding my expectations.
From day one, he and his wonderful staff gave me a warm welcome and made me feel at ease. During the consultation, he took a picture and altered my nose to my liking on a digital screen. It was a great way to visualize how he would handle my procedure before actually having the surgery and even seeing how the results would look. He even let's you take a print of the picture home so you can really think about it.
His surgical staff is absolutely amazing and they've all been working with each other for years and it shows. They made me feel so comfortable when it came to my surgery date.
Dr. Funk personally called my mother, who was taking care of me at the time, to check up on me TWICE.
Dr. Funk also loves to follow up months after the procedure to assure you're healing properly and that you're happy with the results.
Finally, I can't express enough how ecstatic I am about my new nose. He knows how to take everything you wish for and bring it to reality. My nose is absolutely beautiful and photographs very well. Scarring isn't even visible in pictures. I recommend Dr. Funk with a whopping 5 stars!

I'm wondering how long did it take for you to see results? Was swelling bad?

I saw results immediately after the cast came off. Yes, you will experience swelling (predominately on the tip of the nose) but you'll still be able to see the results. Full swelling will take up to a year to fully go away but it all just depends on the person

Almost exactly. Just keep in mind that the picture will be AFTER the swelling though. So it takes patience to really see the results

Why have you not posted pictures? Lots of reviews of this doctor on here are 1 time reviews, 5 stars, and zero pictures. Makes me think the staff is putting them up

No one can see your face if you crop it... I just don't understand why you'd bother to write all this stuff and not put a picture
