So Glad I Did It

I had been contemplating a rhinoplasty for years and years and years. Once My husband and I became more financially stable we realized it was an actual option. I also had a decent amount of sinus issues and chronic sinus infections. It was definitely time to look into options. I came across Dr. funk's profile on Real Self and loved his reviews and photos of his work. Everyone said he was an absolute artist but I was still pretty afraid bc of what a huge step it was. Now 3 months after the surgery, I have to say that all the reviews and recommendations were 100% correct. He does beautiful work and has an excellent bedside manner. I couldn't be more pleased. Now I look back at old photos and see my old nose I cringe! So happy with my new nose!

So I could not be more pleased with the results of my rhinoplasty. That being said, the entire healing process is a learning experience. I did totally freak out about the results around the 2 month mark. Despite all warnings from others, I panicked and assumed I would be left with a bulbous and swollen nose. IT TAKES TIME!!!! For the first few months you will be swollen and your nose will NOT look like the finished product. My nose is now at the 3 month mark and it looks amazing. I get tons of compliments. And the best part is that it will most likely keep getting smaller and more refined from here on. SO DONT LOSE FAITH!!!
