Need a NEW Me!!

Hi! I'm 43, 5'5" and 135. I have a bad case of "DBB" (deflated big boobs) and a roadmap on my belly that will get you anywhere you want to go stretch marks)! I'm looking for a great doctor and by the posts this is a great support group! I'm nervous and excited and want to share my journey with you!!

Hi ladies!! I want to begin this journey with you right from my first to last appointment but first let me give you a little history! I'm 43...soon 44 in Aug. I have a 21 yr old daughter and 15 yr old son. One year after my son was born, I learn I had cervical cancer. My OBGYN gave me the option to have a procedure to remove the cancerous areas on my cervics or a partial hysterectomy if I was done having children!! WHAT DR DOES THAT? Knowing I was done having children I opted for the latter! Im happy to say no chemo or radiation and 14 years later I'm still cancer free!! In my younger years I had a nice shape not model perfect but thankfully never had weight issues but the normal 5-10 pounds here and there other than pregnancy of course. But no matter how precious my kids are to me, pregnancy left its mark on me....literally! I tried the lotions and potions to prevent the stretch marks but to no avail they kept on coming due to genetics. Not only the stretch marks but my girls have been very "sad" for the last 15 years as well! I went to the gym tried different bras and belly wraps but nothing really seemed to work! So that brings us to the present! I just feel like I'm at a time in my life to bring my sexy back even better than before!! After two failed marriages, my boyfriend is so supportive and has made me feel like I deserve to be happy with myself! Something I have NEVER felt before!! I do well for myself so it's not that I need his financial support....the emotional support is so much more rewarding! So he went with me when I had my first consult for my "Mommy Make Over" on March 20, 2017. This Dr was highly recommended by friends. He was very nice, great bedside manner! His before and afters of breast augmentations were great. He didn't have a whole lot of pics from TT's/MM's. I made the appt to see what his recommendations were. He seemed VERY confident he could meet my expectations for the BA (lift with implants) then after he examined my belly he recommended a mini TT which wouldn't get rid of all of my stretch marks (main goal) because there wasn't enough "extra skin" to pull down and I would have a scar from the previous naval. He could do lipo (saw later at an additional charge) to trim my waste line and flanks. Without having anything to compare this recommendation to but the comments from my post, I decided to make a few more appointments. My second appointment was on May 2, 2017 with a Dr I found on RealSelf and was recommended to me by a doctor friend! For this appointment I felt really nervous!! Not sure why other than I was hoping this doctor would be able to take care of my concerns. I was pleasantly surprised!! I LOVED this doctor and her staff! I liked her before and afters for the total MM. She was so very sweet with a GREAT bedside manner! Made me feel very confident she could give me back my pre-mommy body if not better!! I made another consult appt with a 3rd Dr that was also recommended by my doctor friend and I found him on RS as well. My appt with him is tomorrow at 2pm. Looking forward to what his recommendations are. There is one other doctor I would like to see before making a final decision. I'll update as things progress!! So excited for a new me!! ????

So after having a third consult, I decided to go with Dr Young R Cho in Houston Texas!!! So excited and nervous at the same time!! His bedside manner is very gentle, kind and on board with my new body goals! His nurse Gina has been SOOOO AWESOME! Answering all my questions so patiently and understanding exactly what I want! It is true that you will just know the right doctor when you meet him!! Surgery is scheduled for Dec 22 (Merry Christmas to ME). PreOp appointment is a week from today...Dec 4th.
