You look so great! I'm a Crossfit fanatic too, so you give me hope. What did you do in the 4 weeks you were off? My dr says only walking but I noticed I can do an airsquat without feeling it in my abs at all only 5 days PO. I don't want to do too much but I don't want to lose muscle either.

Hey! Thanks! I drank lots of protein shakes and ate well. I started walking 2 weeks post op. Tried jogging but that didn't go too well. I thought about squats but my sister (she's a doctor) fussed at me about it so I stayed away from it. So mainly just walking and eating lots of protein until week 4.
Good luck and happy healing!

I started working out 4 weeks after my surgery. Light weights of course. I gradually increased and I'm pretty much back to normal crossfit workouts at 8 weeks post op. Take it slow though. I stayed away from ab workouts until about week 6 post op.
Good luck with your surgery!

My incision is super flat these days. I've been going to crossfit since week 4 PO everyday except Saturday and Sunday. After I get home from CF I put on my silicone strips. I take them off at night and massage with Palmers scar therapy and cocoa butter cream. It's completely flat now. My PS says she may do a revision in a few months because if you look closely right above my incision there appears to be a small slit on my tummy. That slit is actually my closed hole from my old belly button piercing! It's amazing to me that it used to be above my belly buttin and now it's way down by my public area....lol its crazy! I think I may not want the revision though just to keep the piercing scar to remind me of my old tummy :)

Hi! Your results look awesome! I'm a crossfit fanatic, too. My surgeon said don't even think about any ab workouts for at least 2 months, if not longer in order to allow my muscle repair to heal. So annoying, but I definitely want my results to last. You look great! Can't wait to get back to my 6am butt whoopin workouts! What type of silicone strips do you use?

Hey! Thanks! My first day back at crossfit the wod included 3 rounds of 36 abmats amongst other things. So um yeah I had to substitute that part lol. Tried to do T2B this week and was quickly humbled lol. I was able to do KHP though. Take your time ! I'm just so glad to be back at the box but I definitely don't want to rip anything.
I use silagen strips. My PS sells them at her office. I'm sure you can get them elsewhere though. They are awesome. The box has 4 strips that last two months at least. Happy healing!

Gee thanks lol!! I am. It's really come a long way looking back at my first photos til now. I'm super happy with the progress. I still have swell hell occasionally though. I started wearing my waist trainer in the daytime only to help with the swelling. But it's not too bad or that often.

I just went to my consult and I don't need muscle repair, just skin tightening... I love seeing your progression!! It makes me so excited and you're healing so well! I hope I'm the same way!

Aww thanks! That's awesome! Your healing will be much smoother/less painful. One of my best friends had hers done two days after mine. She had muscle repair and lipo and it took her longer to get back up and running. Everyone heals differently though. Best of luck to you!!

I went back to crossfit on Wednesday, which was 4 weeks and 1 day post op. Taking it pretty slow. Light weights and no ab work as of yet. Today was my third day back and I'm super sore lol of course but my tummy feels great! Saw my surgeon yesterday....got the ok to start using silicone strips yay! Does anyone know if they work super well? I'm hoping so. I've been using scar therapy oil as well so I'm going to keep massaging with that and wear the silicone strips as well.

I'm not sure, with my c section it didn't really work because I ended up with a keloid. Which was strange because I never keloid before with any scars or piercing. I don't know if you keloid, but I'm getting steroid injection at the time of my surgery to be on the safe side. My Ob/Gyn gave me steroids with my second c section and you can barely see my scar. Ask PS if she'll do the same if you think you're going keloid. The sooner the better.

Oh interesting! I've never had a keloid. My csection scars were barely visible so we'll see how this goes. I'll ask my PS if she does the steroid injections. She didn't mention it though.

That's because you're human ;) don't forget, occasional slip ups won't completely ruin your progress. From the looks of it, you're doing just fine.

Dr Agullo gave me ZO SKIN HEALTH which helped a lot. There was another one for the scar but can't remember the name of it. I'll ck and send it to you.
