Love Dr. Siegel and the Results! - Houston, TX

Dr. Siegel performed a bletharoplasty (upper eye-lid surgery), a vertical mini face lift, a neck lift and Fraxel laser resurfacing on me (the eye-lid lift was done prior to the last procedures, on a different date). I decided to have these procedures done because I hate getting older and I wanted to age gracefully and more slowly (or at least APPEAR to do so) - I feel that if I do little things along the way, I will be able to enjoy looking younger while I actually am younger! Also, my eyelids are droopy thanks to hereditary factors. I actually had the procedure done once before when I was only 34 (by another doctor), but it needed to be done again. I love the results of everything. Dr. Siegel performs the procedures in his office under local anesthesia. Though I was skeptical about my ability to handle this, it was not bad at all. Dr. Siegel made me feel completely at ease. Another bonus; it helps make the cost of the procedures more manageable. It's also easier on the body than general anesthesia. I will not lie - when the anesthesia wore off, the pain from the Fraxel laser was quite uncomfortable. My face flat-out burned. Days later, the redness and peeling from the laser was honestly the worst part of all of this. That is what kept me in my house for several days - the minimal bruising and swelling from the mini-lift was easy to cover with make-up; the effects from the Fraxel were not easy to hide. However, the bottom line is that I love the result! My skin looks wrinkle-free, smoother and YOUNGER - and that was my ultimate goal.
