DO NOT GO TO MPRESSIVE FACES (Houston)

$500
I would give it 0 stars if I could.
If you read my previous comments on Realself, you will see that I got microblading done by Maggie at MPressive faces 19 months ago and it did not turn out as expected. She is the owner and master tech. I paid somewhere around $500.
I talked to Maggie a few days after the procedure to tell her that I was not happy with my eyebrows and she said that she would match the decent eyebrow to the bad one (picture) - No, thank you. So I never went for the touch up because I felt I could not trust her and was too scared to make them worse. The few months after microblading were horrible, I did not go outside, I cried, I researched every possible option...I was desperate.
Today, almost 2 years later, I have gone to several professionals and have tried everything to make them fade - microdermabrasion, chemical peels, retin-A...None of them can believe someone did this to my face and, the worst part, this tattoo will not go away.
I even tried pico-sure laser, but since the pigments that were used had iron oxides (Biotouch), the patch test area turned black and my dermatologist did not want to go ahead treating the full eyebrows.
I e-mailed them this week to ask if, since they did my microblading, they knew of any options to remove them. Their answer was "No other client has had this experience as most of them expressed any issues at their touch up. As far as removal, we would suggest laser removal". They also stated that "usually after 12 months or so, the pigment fades substantially. Almost non existent. Perhaps, all of your attempts to get them removed by your board certified dermatologists, that has caused them to turn colors and now harder to fade".

PLEASE, DO NOT GO TO MPRESSIVE FACES! Mistakes happen, but they will treat you like it's your fault and make you feel even worse (if that is even possible). They only want your money and could care less about their clients!
I would say more - Do not get microblading unless you have almost no eyebrow hairs, and do lots of research before going ahead with the procedure.

Try rejuvi!
Have you tried the salt solution? Its salt & saline. It will fade the ink
Have you tried saline removal, it is supposed to be far more successful with micropigment than lasers. I am in the process of healing so that I can go in to have mine removed via saline method. Good luck.
At our office we have seen tattoo's oxidize and turn black after the initial laser tattoo removal session but usually after they turn dark the laser can pick them up and get rid of it. Im so sorry that happened to you. I've seen saline removal sometimes leave scarring so I would be cautious with that.
I had the exact same experience with Maggie at Mpressive Faces. I am Caucasian with very pale skin and dark hair- she gave me all one color black eyebrows that were not natural looking at all. They dominated my entire face. She also "created" entirely new shaped eyebrows and didn't stay within my own brow area. Before she started, I attempted to discuss color and shape and she said "Don't worry, I know exactly what to do." Unfortunately, I believed her. Just like you, I was very upset, would not leave my house or take pictures (so basically I have no pictures of me and my children for almost a year). I did a ton of research on removal and I am now getting saline removal with Melissa McKinney at Sensia Studio in the Galleria. You don't see much movement the first session and it could take 3-4 sessions. That method of removal is supposed to be the most effective. Warning though, it's pretty painful. I'm sorry you had that experience and hope you find a solution.
