In 2008, and can't find anyone to fix it. I still weigh the same, and look the same except for this. Not enough skin for a TT. One dr. thought he could fix it with smart lipo, but wasn't sure, because he caused so much scar tissue, and he wanted 6,000.

Dr. Newell, the dr. that did this. said he couldn't do anything, And tried to blame me, saying I didn't massage it. I did everything by the book. I guess I'm the one that moved my navel over too..haha It was another opinion dr. that wanted the $6,000.00.

Me, too, Joyce, I did not see your journey til now....I had gone to him in 2008 and he did awesome, 2016 went back to fix a bad breast job and arm lift from Mexico and he did great on that and the arm lift BUT he did not follow thru on face fat transfer (only did 2 spots when I laid out exactly where like 10 spots) and he was supposed to do back of my thighs. He will not honor his work at all! It is so hard to save money (am retired now) and things like this happen to people and what recourse do we get ZERO. I am so sorry this happened to you, too! We need to be smart and GET IN WRITING what the doctor will do if it does not come out so we can go to court and ask doctor to pay our fees, just make sure you have before and after pics as proof of what was not done but paid for!! Realself is the only place we can compare notes but it is not easy to find the comments you need to make your decision sometimes. Thank you for sharing! Most of us would kill for a body like yours!!

Thank you for the comment. I so regret doing this, But I went with my sister, to see him and she needed a tummy tuck. She had lost 60 lbs. I ask him about replacing my implants, they were put in at age 37, 1987, they were hard, he said no, they look good. But you could do lipo on stomach and thighs, I thought my things were ok.I think you get more money for that than Boobs. Thank God, I didn't let him redo them.

I think the doctor is completely wrong. You are the patient. It's his clinic's responsibility to apply daily massage and ultrasound daily after surgery to get excellent results. It's part of his procedure. It's not your job nor can you reach all over the areas properly to do massage on yourself. The only reason many of these surgeons don't do it is simply because they are actually not that skilled on getting good results. That's why the photos on the website are so small, distorted and blurry; to avoid showing the real results. I actually wonder if they edit the photos. My photos looked completely different than my own. I was about 45-40lbs overweight. But on his photos - which were sent off to be "adjusted" according to the front office although they have their own in-house photo studio - I looked 150lbs in excess.

Thank you sun1965. Even though I hate myself naked, I like myself with clothes on. But that has nothing to with dr. newell. I looked good before I met him.
