WORTH IT$1,800
Had Perma Facial lip implants (called permalip in Europe). It was worth it because I was spending a fortune on lip injections. But you must keep in mind that the result from the implant is very subtle. It's subtle enough to make a difference, but you won't get the look that you'd get with injections...especially if you want Angelina Jolie or Megan Fox lips. So, if you have realistic expectations, go for it! If you go on my surgeon's website and look at the pics, you'll know what I mean. Even if you get the largest one... I know I'll be happy though because I'm sick of spending so much money on injections that don't last. Not to mention that my lips were always uneven with them so everyone could tell that I had something done.

Pain: it hurt like HELL after the numbing block wore off. So, I definitely needed pain killers. The next day was much better, but still needed pain killers. During the procedure, the lips are numb so you won't feel anything. Unless your surgeon doesn't numb them correctly!

I highly recommend Dr. Rock. He was absolutely amazing! I even cancelled a consultation that I had with another surgeon after meeting him. He was calm, patient, thorough in explaining everything and didn't rush me at all when I was asking questions. Not in the slightest bit! During the procedure, he kept me calm by telling me what he was doing step by step and ensuring that I was okay. The after care was amazing too. You don't talk to a nurse, you talk to him directly! For me, that's gold! No offense to the nursing profession, but cosmetic surgery is very expensive so I want to be able to talk to the expert (the surgeon) if I'm worried about something. AND he called me in the evening to see how I was doing. Not all surgeons do that.
