UPDATE LONG OVER DUE!!!!

WORTH IT$1,800
OMG! Sorry for the extremely delayed update. I am still doing my laser treatment and I am so thrilled and excited with my results. My last laser treatment was in the month of august and I have hardly ay regrowth!. I believe the laser have finally destroyed all the follicles. I still have several more treatments to go, and I originally purchased the lifetime package. So, if any of these little creepers decides to come back, I can go in and zap them away! Right now I am focusing on clearing up the minor discoloration due to yearssssss of ingrown hair. I am using Palmers skin? success to do so.

I would just like to say that I am SO THRILLED to have come across your posting. I too, am African American, with PCOS and suffering through the same fate as you initially were. I've wanted laser hair removal for an extremely long time but have been terrified about my skin potentially being damaged due to my darker complexion. However, your results and photos made me feel so inspired, and especially knowing where you got yours done helped me to do research and feel content in trying it out for myself. This will totally boost my confidence and change my life in so many ways (assuming all goes well), so I am uber excited about it! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing! For anyone reading this, Ideal Image is currently having a 70% off promotion of laser hair removal, just thought I would share!
Yay! I am glad that my post help you in your decision. Trust me my confidence is at 1000%. I no longer worry about people staring at my chin, ingrown hair, or major discoloration. I will post an update photo soon. Let's stay in touch!

Photo update: LHR on African American Skin

I wanted to post an updated picture of my LHR in natural lighting. I was in my car today and just couldn't believe how great the 1st treatment is so far. This has refuel my self-esteem. I no longer feel like people are staring at my facial hair. I no longer have the urge to pluck, shave, or pile on makeup to cover blemishes.

Oh excellent! We love photos - thanks for sharing, looks great.

Omg amazing results.
Hi.. Great results I see you paid 1800, was that per treatment or a package
Hi this was actually for the package (9 treatment and lifetime membership) The membership covers if hair does come back in the future, I would only pay $65 for treatment.
I got my first laser hair removal done last week, and I am so excited, usually I have to shave every day, but not i can go a day without shaving after just one laser session. I have pcos also, I am currently on metformin, birth control and spironolactone to help lower my male hormones. I too have lots of dark spots left on my chin from shaving, i recently bought some hydroquinone to help lighten the spots along with some at home chemical peel to help. I am due for my next session in 3 weeks and i am so excited, the laser treatment didn't hurt at all. I just can't wait to be hair free.
Yay! I am glad you are seeing results as well, I go for my next treatment next Tuesday. After one treatment, I have amazing results. I am so happy to get rid of the hair, as well as the icky hair growing feeling and the itchiness. Have you tried the facial peel? can you please share your results? Ill follow!
