Hair Transplant Nightmare - Houston, TX

Immediately after the surgery, my head was...

Immediately after the surgery, my head was extremely swollen in the areas that the doctor operated on. Now I know that every hair transplant is different from the last and that not everyone reacts the
same, however I recently had another transplant done by Dr. Arocha in Houston and experienced no swelling at all (and when I say no swelling I mean from the day after surgery you could not even tell I had the procedure done!). Now when I say extremely swollen, I mean EXTREMELY swollen. My entire
forhead bulged like a mad scientist from some children's movie and once I was able to remove the tape that had been wrapped around my head to hold the post op bandages all of the swelling fell into my face and eyes.
The doctor assured me that once the hair grew out it would
look natural when blended with the rest of my hair. This could not have been further from the truth. I
am currently 6 months post op (I did not experience the normal shedding
that occurs a few weeks after the procedure) and the transplanted hair
is nearly at the length I normally wear my hair.
Despite his statements about the necessity for single hair grafts in the front of the hairline to make it look natural, upon close inspection I have found MOSTLY multiple hair grafts at the very
front of the hairline. This gives the transplant a very pluggy appearance that contrasts with the hair behind it.
