I have always had a double chin even when I was skinny. As I grew bigger so did my chin. I decided to get smart lipo. I thought all the fat would be gone but even though it is week two I still have a pocket of fat under the chin. After day 4 my chin as still swollen and hurt. My Dr. said there was still fluid in the chin since it hurt. Well it is numb now still but doesn't hurt the same. I am afraid that my chin is where it is going to be now and I of course wanted perfection. Perfection equals zero double chin. The procedure was easy. Went in took my blood pressure and vitals, spoke to the dr to what we were doing, was given a cocktail of pain meds, sedative ( which was awesome) and antibiotic. They precalled in my pain meds and antibiotic so i didn't have to go to the pharmacy after the procedure. I was put in the room where they sterilized me with i think iodine. The Dr let everything sit for 25 mins, gave me a numbing thing to the face...I didn't feel a thing but was awake and knew what was going on. Then it was all over. Simple in and out. I felt fine until the next day since the numbing stuff lasted forever.

Keep us posted on the rest of your healing.  From your pics it looks like the swelling is definitely still there but that it is starting to go down- I see a difference.  Looking forward to hearing more!  Thanks for adding pics :)

Have you talked with your Dr about your concerns yet? I had my chin lips done Oct 2nd also did it in the office. I think Swelling can linger with some patients, are you still using the compression garment? I was told that is a very important part of the process. Hope you continue to heal well.

Hang in there. I don't know if you got to see what it looked like immediately after but that should be a good indicator of what your final result will look like. Everyone heals differently and it can take months to see your final result.
