Pre-Op Appointment

Pre-Op Appointment
My pre-op appointment started out with signing all of the paperwork and going over pre-op and post-op instructions. Long but informative session. After that it was the fun try on time. I started with the UHP 350's but the patient coordinator said I needed to go bigger! LOL!! I saw a sizer off to the side by itself and asked what it was. She said it was the Natrelle Inspira implant. She left the room for a few minutes and came back and said the doctor thought I would be a good candidate for that implant based off of what I wanted my finished boobs to look like. He was going to come in and talk to me about them. He said he would like permission to take several sizes in to try them on me during surgery. He was going to take in a range of 375cc up to 470cc...... (470's yikes!!). I was pleased with my appointment and ready for surgery! Problem was I still had a couple of weeks left to wait!
Next up SURGERY!!!!

Before Pics

After a couple of months of lurking and reading...

After a couple of months of lurking and reading every review I could find, I have decided to write one about my experience so far. I, like lots of us on here, had gorgeous boobs pre-kiddos! I have always said I wish I had a naked picture of myself before kids so I could take it to the PS to show him my wish pics! Don't get me wrong, I would do it all again for my kids. I breastfed both of them for 6-7 months each. I really wanted to have a BA to fix the "mommy look" but I struggled with the thoughts of being a mom and having elective surgery and I know how picky I am and what if I didn't like the results, just the usual stuff we stress about. Which brings me to August 22nd, 2015, when I went to an NFL tailgating party and wore a strapless dress with a strapless bra in 100 degree weather! I was miserable and I decided that day, I was going to call and get the next available appointment possible!

I called PS #1 and they just happen to be able to squeeze me in that day. So off I went........scared, nervous, excited, and anxious. It was very nerve racking undressing and having someone point out your faults. I was hoping to get away without needing a lift but he said I definitely needed a Lollipop lift. I was a little disappointed but if I was going to spend the money, I wanted them done right. He also suggested a moderate implant around the 325cc range. At first I was ok with that....... but then I came home and found this website and my opinions of what I wanted changed. I wanted upper pole fullness, some side boob, and perkiness. I have nothing against the natural teardrop look at all, it just wasn't what i was going for. I had also made another appointment with a highly recommending PS but his availability wasn't as open so I booked an appointment with him two weeks later. One of my best friends had used him for her BA and TT and after talking to her I decided to call back and see if they could get me into another one of his locations. Luckily he could see me a few days later, I just had to drive a little further.......

PS #2....... In my mind I had decided that this was just a confirmation appointment of the first doctor's opinion. I really like PS #1 and his staff so I was pretty confident I was going to go with them. And then I started talking to PS#2 and he said while yes he recommended a lift, he did not think a Lollipop lift was necessary. He was confident he could do a periareola lift to get me to where I wanted to be and avoid the lollipop incision. He also recommended a HP or UHP implant to achieve the upper pole fullness I was looking for. Needless to say I paid my deposit and booked my surgery for Oct. 22, which was 3 weeks after my consult...... Next post will be Pre-Op and surgery! I will also load some pictures for additional information.

Dr. Basu's office was wonderful! The office staff is very informative and responds quickly. Dr. Basu took his time with me, going through all of his recommendations, and explaining in detail why he chose the type of procedure for me. I am overly pleased with my results so far and would highly recommend him to anyone!
