Beach, benching and breasts
Sorry, I’ve been MIA due to my wedding in Bora Bora and another wedding here in the states, but it’s over and done with so goodbye stresss!!
My breasts are doing great ;) still, squishy and soft. I still massage them and my husband has been working on breaking up the scar tissue. I still feel shy wearing clothes that says hey! She has boobs. Though, it was nice wearing nothing but swimsuits and coverups for the wedding.
I don’t think I’ll ever have sensation in my right nipple so if I have kids one day they can gnaw on that boob all they want lol. I still have the incisional scars and actually did buy SkinMedica Lytera 2.0. It was my fault that I went sunbathing topless and forgot about the incisions until a couple of days later. Sigh.. my thoughts so far on the Lytera 2.0...it doesn’t work for my incisions. I was consistent with it for 3 months using it twice a day even using a dermaroller and it still looked the same. Yet, when I used Lytera on my face it made my scars fade! Maybe I just need something stronger for the breasts.
I had put the gym aside to plan for my wedding, but now I’m super motivated to get back in shape. I’ve been more consistent this past month and actually started benching again! I knew things felt different compared to two months ago when I did pushups. I used to feel a twinge and feel each individual per strand working at it. When I finally benched it was amazing like I never got a boob job. For taking a year off of benching my strength wasn’t that greatly diminished! So don’t rush and though others may get back in the gym sooner than you just listen to your body.
Sorry the pictures are two months old, but I promise I’ll post newer pictures soon.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Nordstrom vs Victoria Secret sizing
Lesson learnt and 120 dollars down the drain...so I finally went to buy a bra last week on my fiancé’s insistence. I went to VS and was measured as 32D so of course I bought 3 bras..the thing is that there is a gap in the cleavage area where the bra doesn’t quite touch my sternum. I didn’t know what to make of it and thought it was supposed to be that way. Sorry if I make it sound confusing but wait! I will explain. So my fiancé asked his female clients what bra brands they would suggest beside VS. Chantelle, Natori, and Soma bras were names he threw at me, but all I know is NIKE. He had to drag me to the mall even though I told him 3 bras were enough.
So yesterday we went to Nordstrom and I try on a 32D bra and I’m a bit dissatisfied with the way the bra gaps in the middle of my boobs. The kind associate asked if I wanted to get measured so I did. She noticed the gap with the 32D and said my ribcage was probably small like hers. She measured me at 30 inches! She said she used to work at VS and that the associates weren’t trained really well. She had me try on many bras until I got to the right size which is 30DDD! What a difference the correct size bra makes! No gap though my boobs were pushed up a little. Next was picking the bras and styles I liked. My fiancé waited patiently during this whole time and asked the sale associates questions like I’m kinda suspecting he did some research while I was asleep.
So I left Nordstrom with two Chantelle bras happy that I got the correct bras now, but sad that the 32D bras are no longer of any use to me. I’m told Chantelle is a better brand and if the cost of it says anything I have to agree.
For future reference you future and current BA ladies I’m not bashing Victoria Secret or anything. Get measured there if you want, BUT definitely get a second opinion elsewhere. I did read that Nordstrom was more accurate in measurements, but I’ve always shopped at VS so I went to them in blind faith. It doesn’t hurt to get measured at different department stores. Just do it. Like Nike.
I will post pictures of the differences between the two bra sizes so y’all can see what I’m talking about.
Cheers and Merry Christmas!
