29 Years Old, No Kids, 5'4" and 135 lbs, 275 cc under the muscle - Houston, TX

6 days postop and feeling better every day!

WORTH IT$6,800
I saw my surgeons yesterday (I also had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Phi, who is in Dr. Ciaravino's office) and they are thrilled with where I was at 5 days postop. Each day I'm moving around a little more and the discomfort is a little less. There really isn't so much pain anymore but more discomfort. Every now and then I get sharp shooting pains just in the bottom corner of my left breast. I asked about this yesterday and the nurse explained that it is normal as the nerves start waking up and reconnecting. No longer taking the Norco but still using the Methocarbamol (muscle relaxant) and that is providing the most relief.

Ordered a few bras from Amazon to alternate until I'm in regular bras. Was unsure of sizing but ordered the Playtex Zip Zip Hooray in a small (based on a review here) and the New Balance Shockingly Unshocking Bra in 32C. The playtex one fits great! Love the front zip feature. The New Balance was too small, seemingly in the band but maybe also in the cups. Sent it back today for a 34C and will update when it comes.

Even though I won't be working out again for a while, as an RN I will probably stick to sports bras under my scrubs and I'm really dreading having to pull a sports bra off over my head. Think I'll be sticking to these sports bras that have zippers or hook & eye closures for a while. So can't have too many of these!

Added some pictures of the girls from the last few days and the sutures.

Looking great!!! When did you take your tape off!? They told me 2 weeks at Dr C's office but it's literally driving me crazy!!!!!!

How does your nose feel!? I imagine that was painful :(
Thanks! I actually didn't have any steristrips on coming home from the hospital (or they came off that first day somehow) but when I went to my follow-up yesterday they put some on. Said the same thing, two weeks I can take them off.

The nose has actually be the least painful part of it all, which shocked me! But I just had a bump they shaved down so I don't think they had to break my nose and reset it. They didn't change anything else, like the width or nostril or tip so I'm assuming that's why it hasn't been too painful.
That is so great! You seem to be doing really well!!!
I want to take these strips off so bad!!!!!!! It's been one week tomorrow! What would happen!? Lol
Wow you look great! I have the same lifestyle and actually pretty much the same stats as you, height/weight. I'm also hoping to go for either 250cc or 275cc. Are you happy with your choice? I'm afraid 275cc might still a little too big for my taste but your results look good so who knows! :)
Please keep us posted. I have a similar body type as you and am getting 275cc and am worried it's going to be too bi
g! Thinking maybe I should do 250cc. Do you like it? Are you happy? Hoping to be a big B cup... but maybe C isn't so bad?

I have always been small chested, even wearing a 34B bra was a stretch, and was always an average build. Just under 5'5" and for most of my 20s weighed around 150 and carried it well. Over the last few years I developed a passion for barre classes and then later, changed my diet completely. I achieved a lean 135 lbs, body fat around 20%, and in the process not even the A cup bras would fit. When I finally tried shopping in the teen section of Target without any luck, I knew it was time to do what I had always wanted to do - have breast augmentation surgery.

I spent the last 6 months researching plastic surgeons in the Houston area, eventually having consultations with 5 before settling on Dr. Ciaravino. I wanted to achieve a natural look that balanced out my curvier lower half and maintained my athletic build. In my regular job I wear scrubs and the goal is for no one to even notice the augmentation once I am able to return to work. My second job is a fitness instructor, and while I'm aware that an augmentation will be more noticeable once I return to tank tops and spandex, I still don't want the look to detract from the dedication I have to my clients and our workouts.

Dr. Ciaravino and I discussed sizes before settling on 275 cc silicone implants. Of all the surgeons I consulted with, he suggested the smallest size which was comforting to me. Other surgeons seemed to push for much larger implants, despite the look I explained I was going for, and even suggested that I would feel regret later on for not going larger. That approach really gave me a bad taste and Dr. Ciaravino never tried that tactic. In fact, he was confident that the 275 cc implant would perfectly balance my figure without overwhelming my chest.

I'm now two days post-op. Included are my before pictures and some from today.

They look great!!!
When do you return to work!?
Thanks! I don't go back to work until Nov 10th. I'm a nurse and my job is pretty physical, plus I had a rhinoplasty at the same time, so they advised I take around 2 weeks or so if I could manage it. When do you go back?
