2 week update

Doc says they're developing great. Still got a ways to go and I'll be doing my massages continuously.
I still don't have comfort in full range of motion, chest muscles are still healing so still taking it easy.
I bought silicone strips from my doctor's office called NewGel. $75, def cheaper than Embrace so hopefully they will work! I am very paranoid about how my scars heal as I have had a bad scar from an surgery from injury (non-cosmetic related).

6.2.17 Incision tape is off!

A week's gone by and feels like forever. My boobs have dropped a little bit compared to the first day but still got a ways to go. As instructed by my doctors office, take the incision tape off after a week. I took a shower in hopes to make it easier to take the tape off but, that is the stickiest tape I have ever dealt with in my life. It was the most pain I've felt peeling it off than any moment during this whole process! The incision cut and suture is super clean (as in: skin connects perfectly). There's a bump underneath the cut which I assume are the sutures that will dissolve. I'm really hoping for a good skin recovery b/c I historically don't scar well. The pictures look ugly b/c I couldn't get all the sticky adhesive off my skin... any ideas?

My next post op is Friday, 6/9 and I want to discuss silicone sheets or using Embrace. Is it worth it?

Days 5 and 6! First day back to work

I've been feeling pretty good. I stopped taking Hydrocodon after the 2nd day b/c I hated how drowsy I got with it. I haven't been taking any Tylenol either, bounced back pretty quickly I'd say. The 3rd and 4th days were saturday and sunday of memorial day weekend... of course, I went to some BBQ's and hung out with friends. I only drank water and ate my own food though... with the exception of a couple bites of some bbq (I couldn't allow myself to miss out on that). I only take the Valium at night b/c it also makes me drowsy, and I just take it as a precaution to let the muscles relax. I definitely couldn't be taking it while at work or driving to work...

Day 6 was my first day back at work! I bought these silicone nipple covers called Nippies and they are awesome. I seriously recommend and told my gf's about it b/c now we're all just hating bras. I got the size 2, but I probably could've gotten the size 1.

So far, still doing my massages. My right boob feels a bit tighter than the left. I can really feel the implant move more in my right boob than my left. But I think it's expected b/c during consultations, doctors said my left breast had a bit more tissue or something and my right boob is more round and tighter. Sisters, not twins!
